I had three visits at this office and unfortunately, would not recommend this establishment. This review is in no way indicative of the medical care I received (Dr. Perry was very attentive and professional and the athletic trainers who took my vitals were incredibly nice), but of the unprofessional nature of the front office staff and incredibly long wait times. Julie, working at the front desk, was very rude and unprofessional each of the three times I checked in or made follow up appointments. She was very argumentative, specifically when I was asking questions about insurance coverage. She

Dr. Toby and Dr. Shadiak have been tending to my infant and are amazing. Very patient, very thorough, very gentle. They answer any questions I have and are informative.
A few times, though, they are behind schedule and we end up waiting upwards of 20+ minutes to be seen. But they're great doctors!!
The receptionist, Julie, does her best to help you as well.

This place is insane. A few weeks ago I started receiving phone calls about an appointment I never made. I have literally never seen, talked to, called, or tried to set up an appointment with anyone at this office or practice. Now they've sent me a bill for a no show fee for an appointment that I never made or wanted. You can bet I'm going to be contacting the Virginia State Police Insurance Fraud line on Monday.

I am currently seeing Dr. Kozar for Achilles tendinitis. He has been wonderful to work with- very knowledgeable and spends a lot of time each visit. He looked at other contributors to my problem - not just running. He told me I had to be patient as it is a long healing process. About 3 months in and I am slowly making progress. Hoping for a complete recovery!

I chose VCOM because I was new to town and wanted to check in on the status of my healing stress fracture. The doctor had great rapport during the visit, but lacked a real follow through on communicating results. I had both an X-ray and an MRI. I relied on her to tell me if my stress fracture was healed. She had a nurse call to tell me the results - which did not include the fact that my MRI still showed a grade 1 stress fracture. They encouraged me to continue running and building my mileage. Not knowing that I was not fully healed, and no mention that I should continue to monitor. I feel like

I have seen Dr. Kozar and Dr. Hardin several times over the past few years for both acute and chronic issues, as well as a few of the other doctors when the two are unavailable. I have been very pleased with my care and treatments. Both Hardin and Kozar are excellent at osteopathic manipulative medicine and Dr. Kozar excels at difficult to treat or solve physical complaints. Every physician I have seen there really takes their time with you, listening and conducting thorough exams. I have recommended them to many people and have heard nothing but good things back from those that have been. The
