Woolley's Frozen Custard
We are located just off Basswood Blvd in the North Beach Plaza shopping center near Domino's Pizza. Enjoy your frozen custard on a cake cone or waffle cone, banana split, sundae or custard sandwich. Opening a frozen custard shop was at one time a joke among friends. After college graduation (UNT) and realizing that the corporate world was not for them, Brett Allen and John Woolley did just that.

They quit their jobs and spent a year working on Woolley's Frozen Custard. The pair formulated their unique recipe, and in April of 2003, Woolley's was born. From corporate catering to weddings to birthday parties and even fundraising, you will often see Woolley's out and about - supporting the local community when possible.

A graham cracker crust is filled with Woolley's vanilla frozen custard mixed with plenty of strawberries and cheesecake pieces. We top this one with whipped cream and sliced strawberries. This masterpiece begins with a graham cracker crust and a layer of hot fudge. We then add a layer of Woolley's vanilla frozen custard mixed with peanut butter sauce and a layer of Reece's Peanut Butter Cup.

We moved to this area 6 years ago. This place has been our go to since day one. We've tried some of the other places and they're fine but his place is home. The service has always been great and our kids were STOKED to make the wall of travel sporting their Woolley's shirts at the Grand Canyon.

Our favorite local ice cream / custard place. The place itself it nothing special but the custard is simply perfect. We love it, and it's neat that it's owned by UNT alums. Go mean green!

"Don's Favorite" was excellent. I was limited to ordering a chocolate item because they were out of vanilla. Oh well. Still it was quite tasty.

Woolley’s is a local institution founded about 20 years ago by two UNT alums. The service is always snappy and the product is high quality. My favorite is the UNT Mean Green, a melange of vanilla custard, mint syrup, and Oreos. It’s hard to go wrong and with dozens of toppings, there’s something for everyone. Appreciate all the company does to support the community. Great place all around!

A locally owned frozen custard shop with tons of mix-ins and frozen custard pies . Always delicious, never lets us down. We order personalized quarts to take home as it's a better deal than individual cups. We LOVE supporting local business and this is a staple.

This place had a super cute atmosphere and I loved the story of how it came to be. That said, I was a little disappointed with the custard. I ordered the key lime flavor, and my friends ordered chocolate w/caramel, strawberry cheesecake, and a raspberry concrete. I wasn't a huge fan of mine and the raspberry had an odd aftertaste. Also, unfortunately, my friend with the chocolate and caramel found a long hair in her custard. A big part of this is my own taste preferences, but the hair was definitely not welcome. That said, I am willing to try it again with a different flavor.
