Close to town but stellar views. Peaceful and quiet, lots of birds and occasionally a deer family. This cabin home has it all! You don’t ever want to leave, but if you do there is plenty to do! We visited waterfalls, the local craft folk school and a copper mine museum for starters!

Our experience at the Hardwood Trail Retreat in Murphy, NC was GREAT! The cabin is very nice and comfortable for our family of 4. The office was VERY prompt in answering our questions when we called. For example, we needed the hot tub serviced and they had someone there in less than 45 minutes! One thing I would recommend is that the sink holes in the driveway be repaired and that the exterior of the cabin and decks be power washed to remove the mildew/moss buildup; the deck can be very slippery in the morning with the morning dew on it. Diane's Dream truly is a dream location. We stayed there a second time and we enjoyed every day and night even better than the first time. Everything we need is provided on the property. Clean beautiful home and the property is a wonderful place for our boys to explore! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the creek was so relaxing to hear with the sound of the streams. Thank you for sharing this property to enjoy vacation away from home. We look forward to our next stay!

We were not disappointed from the minute we arrived in Murphy, NC. Check in was easy Peasy! I chose this property for our 29th Wedding Anniversary celebration. They even accommodated my request to have flowers delivered before my arrival. Mountain View was an amazing piece of property that was well kept and well stocked with all you needed. We were amazed at the views from the hot tub, swing and deck. Downtown Murphy was perfect for shopping and the eats were fantastic as we visited Murphy's Steakhouse and Bistro29. We look forward to reserving another weekend soon!
