Love Your Melon is an apparel brand dedicated to giving a hat to every child battling cancer and supporting the fight against pediatric cancer. Love Your Melon was founded in an entrepreneurship class at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota by two friends, Zachary and Brian, who wanted to start a business with a meaningful and positive social impact.
After achieving the original goal of giving 45,000 hats - one for every child battling cancer in America - Love Your Melon set a new goal of giving one million dollars to pediatric cancer research and providing immediate support to children and their families.To date, we have given over 8.3 million dollars to the fight against pediatric cancer and over 200,000 hats to children battling cancer.

We are passionate about producing high-quality products, creating jobs across North America, and emphasizing our value of community. All of Love Your Melon's knit products are manufactured in the United States with specialty items such as mittens made in Canada.
The Request A Hat program gives friends and family the opportunity to surprise a child battling cancer with a Love Your Melon Hat. Each Love Your Melon hat is personally given or requested for someone battling cancer, with the hope that it continues to provide smiles and support during a difficult time.

Omg what a wonderful idea and place! I love LYM so much and I got an email about a build your own beanie studio and today we checked it out. The place is bright, cheery and clean. Very neat and organized. You can make your own or buy ones there. They have a great selection. I made my own and if I course I picked aqua ;)
You pick your hat, if you want it cuffed, Pom ( if you want) and the logo tag and the gal makes it right there for you. I didn't pay attention and didn't watch her ad I was busy shopping lol but it was done within a few minutes. What a great idea! They had a wonderful

Their beanies are cute. I was trying to Get a family member into the beanies because they are made in USA and they also give back I have 4 of their items. So the person looked at it and was curious if the material was from the US (they don't hold up very well)also and it is not it is but bulk from overseas which I'm sure saves them a lot of money.
