I honestly could not recommend Dr. Davis more. Being a female in the military, hip issues are very common. I was told by 3 different orthopedic doctors that I just needed to rest and ice my hips. So I did, for years. When I found Dr. Davis for my 4th consult I was prepared for him to also brush me off.
Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics offers patients the opportunity to communicate with clinicians by email and view/print or transmit forms electronically. Transmitting patient information electronically, however, has a number of risks that patients should consider before giving consent. These risks are outlined in the terms and conditions below.
Injuries and pain in the knees and lower extremities can result in the inability to exercise, play or even perform job duties comfortably. For these situations, Access Sports Medicine provides a full range of services to help you get back on your feet. Most commonly, acute injuries from falls or slips can result in pain and injury to knees, legs, ankles and feet.
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is responsible for keeping the knee stable. As a ligament, the ACL connects the upper leg bone and lower leg bone. A tear in the ACL can range from a mild injury to a severe tear if the ligament completely tears and causes the bones to separate. ACL injuries commonly occur from deceleration - a reduction in speed.

5 stars... There are not enough words of gratitude that I can string together to express my complete appreciation for how lucky I feel to have met Jay (James) Fugarazzo, the Physical Therapist treating me at Access Sports Medicine. Frozen Shoulder was nothing I'd ever heard of before, let alone something I imagined I'd get, that is until it struck me in 2021. It is no joke, you wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's hard to describe the pain and limitations of a frozen shoulder unless you've experienced it yourself. Working through it is a process, but I'm here to tell you with Jay, you can trust the

I have a very complicated history with hip dysplasia + other hip complications, and have had many reconstructive and repair surgeries… I started working with their team and am truly blown away by how thorough and comprehensive they are. I am never rushed and always leave feeling I’ve had all my questions thoroughly answered. I’ve been working with one of their PT’s J for several months now, and I can’t even describe how much better my experience is with him than any other PT I’ve been to in the past. He truly understands not only the body, but my complicated body, and I am truly blessed

Dr Thompson and the whole staff were amazing. I came in with an incredibly painful and acute injury and they were so speedy and helpful. All the staff were super kind and understanding. The news I received after my X-ray was a lot to take in but they were compassionate in how they delivered the message and didn’t rush me. They answered all my questions and were able to schedule next steps for MRI right away.

The staff was very thorough and answered my questions and gave me specific directions for what I needed to do in order to rehab appropriately. They prepared me well, explained the exercises well and helped me with the recovery process afterwards. I have great confidence going forward in my treatment.

My appointment with Christie was great. She did a comprehensive analysis of my dizziness problem, did some testing on me and developed a good plan to address the issues. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the issues I have, and her willingness to take the time to make sure I understood what is going on and the reasons for the treatments she recommends.
