Ed & co. are great. Cars are super clean. Service is outstanding. We absolutely loved our experience. We were in town celebrating a birthday. They were on time every time and provided such a great experience. Will definitely use them again when back in the Tahoe area. Would absolutely recommend!

Before heading to a wedding at Lake Tahoe from out of town, I called these guys to check if they were able to pick up from the Reno airport and drive the 45 minute commute to west Lake Tahoe. Their customer service was next to none - we were treated kindly and professionally and I recommend them to anyone in the area. Wonderful service!

So thankful for them! Had an early morning flight to get to from Truckee to Reno. Came on time to pick us up from our cabin helped with bags and was very friendly! Who needs Uber or Lyft when you have North Tahoe Checker Taxi!! Thanks again!!

Used these guys this morning to get from Northstar to Tahoe. There are few Uber or Lyft options, especially at certain times, in North Lake so I wanted to book a taxi. I called a few places and these guys were the most competitive rate and were professional. The driver, Eddie, was punctual, nice, and communicative. The car was also comfortable and nice.

I was able to book a ride to Northstar though the link to their website on Yelp and received a quick response back. Eddie confirmed the date, time and location and even texted me an ETA and type of car to look for before he arrived to pick us up. It was such an easy and pleasant experience. I will definitely use North Tahoe Checker Taxi again.

Don't ever book this taxi service, they will tell you they will come in 39 minutes then call you forty minutes later to let you know they are on the way and the flake on you anyway. There are terrible.

We had an unfortunate experience in Tahoe this past weekend where an accident left us without a car and a snow storm blocked all exists out of the area. I called all of the taxi companies and none of them picked up the phone on Sunday except Rick and he committed at that moment to pick us up and take us to get our rental in Tahoe. Very grateful for these guys doing the job right and being there when a customer calls.

Tip - most drivers in the area charge about $4 per mile which works out to roughly $120 from the Deerfield area in Truckee. That being said, we decided to go with Trucker Taxi only bc we had a 10% discount flyer thru our hotel. Our driver Eddie picked us up right on time and was easy to work with. Would use again.

Great ride - super nice driver. I needed a late ride from Incline to Reno, and they did a great job. Steve (driver) checked in a couple of times during the day to make sure everything was good for the pickup and accommodated a last minute shift in schedule. Will definitely use them again.

I've used N Tahoe Checker for years. They are reliable, clean, fair rates and a friendly knowledgeable crew. Nice 4x4's as well. They have picked me up at Truckee airport and even made a run to San Jose CA for me once. They are my go to around North shore.

So you told us to get out of your taxi because you had a better fare to go get, then say you will send another cab... which never shows up! This company is seriously the worst service. Do yourself a favor call another taxi this company sucks
