Country Comfort
Ever since we began serving the Merced and Central Valley areas over 40 years ago, we've been focused on only one thing: to provide the absolute highest quality comfort products to our Valley residents, that will last a lifetime. That's why we only sell brands that we personally known, trust, and believe, and will never carry products we don't feel best serve our customers.

We believe that with time, comes experience, and with times comes refinement. Time gives us wisdom, and time gives us reflection. Our building, built in 1915 is a historic location in Merced, CA and reminds us every day of the quality and service that seems to have been forgotten in the modern society.
Services
At Country Comfort, we provide only the highest quality fireplace and spa products, so you can relax, rejuvenate, and recharge, right in the comfort of your own home. Kuma stoves are some of the cleanest burning and efficient wood burning stoves in the world. You'll save money, while also enjoying superior comfort, and increasing the interior appeal of your home.
A spa or hot tub is one of the best investments you can make in not only a luxurious home experience, but also for your health and sleep. Using a sauna 2 hours before bed time has been proven to improve sleep quality and duration. Having a hot tub or spa is a great way to connect with friends, which is vital for good mental health.
We offer stoves, fireplaces, and inserts for every home, and every budget. Plus, get up to $3000 in rebates from the San Joaquin Valley Air Board for purchasing a new, energy efficient unit. Adding a fireplace or fire feature to your home can increase the resale value of the home by up to 6-12 percent, and represents a 100% ROI.
We offer stoves, fireplaces, and inserts for every home, and every budget. Plus, get up to $3000 in rebates from the San Joaquin Valley Air Board for purchasing a new, energy efficient unit. Every 3 to 6 weeks. The exact amount of time depends on how often you user the spa, and how many people are using it.

If you visit Underberg you absolutely must stay at Country Comfort! My partner and I have never felt so spoiled, it felt like we were staying with family. They really have thought of everything you could possibly ever need and are incredibly generous and friendly. Sitting in the hot tub admiring the views, whilst Louis and Sandy poured us wine was for sure a highlight! We stayed for 3 nights which was perfect.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Country Comfort and would like to come back sometimes.

Lovely, lovely, lovely! We stayed here for one night (if we knew in advance how great this place is, we certainly would have stayed here for more than one night). The hosts have not just been very friendly, they made us feel super comfortable, it was like spending time with your family. The house is nice and our room was just amazing, we had a nice view to the mountains from the window sill. The location is close to underberg, in case you might be interesting to go hiking.
The breakfast was also just great, there was pancakes, croissants, omelette etc etc, actually I never have had such a nice

Thought I would try to patronize the "local business",for a part for my Polaris pool sweep.I know stores need to make a profit but $40.00 for a leaf bag is unacceptable.I went out to the car,and ordered 2 Polaris bags for $14.00 shipped. No wonder downtown Merced is in bad shape.

Run, run away as fast as your can! We started the process in person at the store in Merced, for a gas fireplace insert with Ty. Ty never, called back. I called several times, finally someone came out and measured. Then Ty dropped off the face of the earth. No return calls, doesn't answer phone at business. Finally someone named Toni answered one day and said if I purchase a product from him which is higher priced I would have my insert by next week. I inquired to contact the owner, I am told "he's out of state". I don't think this is a legit business. It just can

I had a friend who couldn't find a part for her fireplace and wanted it for Thanksgiving. I checked yelp. Talked to Ty. He said have her come. She did that very day. Part ordered. Will be here in plenty of time. She's so excited and I'm glad.

Two people with a golden heart having a bed and breakfast. We were lucky to stay in their B&B for one night. Immediately it felt like home, all because of the owners. Good conversation to get to know each other and talking about cultural differences. The room with view on the mountains (Drakensbergen) is absolutely magnificent. They make a wonderful big breakfast. We had a wonderful time.

Apparently, the previous long-time owners have sold this fine business. Too bad. They were always very friendly and helpful, and that's why I prefer to do business with locally owned businesses. The new owners (or employees?) were a real turnoff . . indifferent verging on rude. Guess I'll have to buy my pool supplies in the future from Walmart, Lowe's, or Home Depot. Too bad.

We purchased a stove from this company and not only were we misled on the price of installation (final bill was $370 more than expected - with no authorization), and the installer tried to coerce my elder mom into paying for a certification that was needed by telling her "your insurance will not cover you if your home burns down with out the certification." Called my insurance agent and this is false information. Spoke to Jim (the manager) he offered to reduce the $370 down to $277 for their mistake...so the mistake will cost him $92 and us $277. No thanks Jim! I'll pay the
