Our first time at this park. It is clean and our pullthrough site was level. The pedastals are high enough to hang a surge protector and keep the plug off the ground, and can be locked with a small padlock. It is literally 1/2 mile from Costco, which has diesel, but only at the extreme left pumps. There is also a Starbucks right across from Costco. Might want to go to Starbucks or before you hook up.

Nice park with good facilities and clear through ways. Although not a lot of space between RVs, there is ample room for pull through of our 45 coach with toad. We stayed here read previously and will probably stay here again in the future

Well stocked & Wondrous Gift shop. First time being away from home for Christmas...the shop provided some special Lady Christmas shopping fun! Clean & well kept facility/grounds. The Cabana was a Huge blessing to our kids in keeping up on their Homework, giving them space & wonderful change of scenery. HUGE Thanks guys!!👍😘

Nice central location. Clean and well kept. Only complaint was the dip at the driveway entrance was a bit extreme for motorhomes and trailers. An enclosed dog park would be nice, but the option of using the historically dry river to exercise the dog was a nice alternative.

We have been RVing for 3 years across the country..
The best place we have been in California!!! Heated pool , little store,, excellent manicured lawns and concrete pads.
Very clean grounds! Close to everything, with minimal highway noise.

One of the best RV parks we have been to (full timers that move weekly). The owners were incredibly kind and the whole place was clean. They have a fantastic pool and the cleanest laundry room/machines we have found.

This is an update of our previous review which is equally good. Over the past few years we have stayed here and always pleased. Amenities are good with rec room, pool and spa. Very clean. Nice little store. The staff is very friendly and seem eager to make your stay pleasurable. A big shout out to them on the treatment shown to us during this stay. Have been here a week due to being evacuated from a forrest fire near our home, hopefully going home soon, from the updates, house is still standing. Nothing but great. I would recommend this park to anyone. Thank you River Run

Stayed here overnight heading to NorCal. Very clean and organized RV park. Pull through site. Easy electric hookups.
Bathrooms and showers were very clean….the only drawback was they are locked and unavailable from 10 pm to 7 am. We get up early and would have liked a nice shower before heading out in the morning.
Nice location off of the freeway

This is our first time at this RV park. There are no picnic tables at your site. The pool closes at 4:30 which was very frustrating when it is 104 outside. You need to shower at restrooms as tap water is hot.
For those who visit be aware of this ahead of time. In addendum there were no tables at site due to pandemic. We were able to get into pool the next day with limited amt. of people. They do have a nice store for necessities. Met some very nice campers on our visit.

We just stayed one night on our way home. Excellent service & communication before stay when we needed a slight change to our reservation. Very nice, well organized & clean park. Reasonably priced. Good for night or longer stay. We will definitely come back.

Pool is now open till 10, which is essential when the lowest temperature is 87 at 3am. My kids basically spent the whole day at the pool except to eat and potty then back to the pool. I also appreciate that the prices at the store aren't crazy. Most other places would have doubled their prices but this is very reasonable.

The only downside is the super deep dips. If you're towing an extra vehicle, your tow hitche might scrape. Tons of other scrapes before we joined the mix!

Other than that, it's definitely worth it.

We love this RV park for our overnight stays coming from NorCal when we head down south and on the way back home. We stayed there on two different nights this last week and it was just as great as when we were there back in January. They have such a clean, well-maintained, organized layout. Plenty of pull-throughs and easy in and out. We always stop at the Costco across the street for a gas fill and it is right off CA-99 for an easy stay on the way somewhere. The pool area was shaded and had plenty of chairs. Their gift shop and office is also nice and spacious. We love that they do a Good Sam

Do not visit until they change their policies. We booked this placed for a one night over on a long trip. When the office person leaves, the amenities listed on their web site close, including the gym, pool, restrooms and clubhouse. Amenities close at 4:45pm (when people arrive to stay) and don't reopen until 9am the following morning (after campers leave). In 109 degree heat this is not only a nuisance but a safety issue. I'm going over to the Marriott next door.

This spot is handy for us coming and going from California. It is well maintained and tucked back in by the river. They do contactless check in and we will definitely be staying here in the future. :)

What a great little hide away.. We wanted to try out our travel trailer locally before taking it out on the road. Making a reservation was so easy, the woman who answered the phone was very helpful and enjoyable to talk with. The people who stay here are very quiet and aware of other peoples space. We will stay here again and we will highly recommend it to our friends and family.

On our CA north/south journeys, this is a great spot for an overnight stay. Costco, right across the street, has a fuel station including diesel. walmart supercenter down the street about a mile or so. the park is clean, quiet, well kept. While I had to book my COVID dip in the (very small) pool, it was not a huge inconvenience, all things considered. Gift shop has a nice selection of local wine, jam, honey.

THE BEST: Benji's french basque restaurant is just around the corner. Local, family owned. Service is family style except entree. Best lamb dinner I've had since Rome. Hubby and

The park is very clean and quiet. It is located near a Costco and plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. We received a text message the day before welcoming us. Then the day of arrival we received a message advising of some near by road work and offered an alternative route. Great communication! When we arrived our check in information was tapped to the door. Great process during Covid times. We had a pull through buddy site with family traveling with us. This worked out great. Thank you for accommodating us with great spots.

Very nice RV park. Easy in spots, easy out.
Not their fault, but the road is terrible accessing the park.

Close to Costco and restaurants. A gas station not far at all.

If only they would fill in the curb area as you exit your site I'd have no problem recommending River Run to friends.

On further evaluation, this is definitely a five star RV park! Bakersfield River Run is a terrific RV park! Spacious sites, with grass and a nice concrete pad. Access to a walking path along the river. Friendly and knowledgeable employees. A wonderful little store that has just about anything you may have forgotten, and some adorable knickknacks. There is a small gym here with high quality equipment. The pool is nice, as is the clubhouse. Even though this park is close to a highway, noise is not a problem. We will definitely be back!

We started our vacation here 2 weeks ago and ended it here. We stayed at KOA's and other expensive RV Resorts and none of them compared to this park. The pictures are exactly what you get. The park is easy to get in and out of, and the roads are wide for easy access to the sites. We arrived after hours. Our site information was on the door waiting for us. We stayed along the river. The sites are wide, some have trees, all have grass and a cement pad.

This is one of the cleanest RV Parks we have ever stayed at. Everything was spotless. The employees are very friendly and the store has lots

Called in for a reservation months in advance and I was not required to pay a deposit. How great is that? I typically pay the first night and pay the rest later at other places. I've received a 10% Good Sams discount as well.

We needed a break from a very long road trip. It is a perfect choice for a overnight stay to catch some rest and pick up then leave the next morning. Restaurants are within reach and that made it convenient to grab dinner.

The only complaint I have was the morning stench. I'm not sure where it was coming from. Given it is located within an industrial neighborhood
