He built me a double wide driveway, sidewalk, and large patio area. After last winter's storms/freezes, the surface layers started flaking off. He told me it was due to my putting salt on the driveway. In one small area I did use some salt, but not the entire, huge driveway. The area I used most of the salt was on the steps and sidewalk to the front door. There are no problems at all there. I think he got a bad batch of concrete. I am not surprised at the bad reviews this company has gotten. The drivers of this company drive recklessly. Reading these comments I’m surprised they’re still even in business.

My husband is very particular when it comes to others working on our house and he was very impressed with Rick's work. We had part of our driveway poured by another company and were very disappointed with the results. So when we spoke with Rick about finishing the work we let him know our concerns and hesitations right away. He was able to fit us into his schedule quickly and his work was perfection. We poured a patio off of our driveway as well as a curved sidewalk to our deck. Very impressed.

Rick Rouse and his crew did shoddy work on my 2 wide driveway. Looked OK until 1st freeze and snow and surface started crumbling away. Rick insisted it was my fault for using rock salt. I used rock salt on my porch and sidewalk that are just fine. Then he said it was the concrete company and I needed to go back on them. I knew that was BS. I finally got an inspection and report by a state licensed and certified inspector that made clear that neither salt, chemicals, nor the quality of the concrete is to blame. It was the poor top layer (broom finish) that was improperly done. The report goes into
