As a teenager, Jennifer Kramer struggled with acne and tried numerous treatments and products over the years- including regular facials, dry ice therapy, cortisone shots, and Accutane- nothing worked. Because of this, she decided to dedicate her life to increasing 'confidence through clarity', and in 1996- Corrective Skincare LA was born.
Between our acne-clearing facial treatments, DiamondGlow services, custom-formulated chemical peels, and virtual consultations- we have something for everybody >.
A Full Treatment usually consists of cleansing, glycol exfoliation or enzyme exfoliation with steam (dead skin cell-dissolving enzymes are activated by heat and moisture and soften clogged pores and comedones, facilitating their evacuation), extractions, calming or therapeutic mask, and application of a hydrating anti-inflammatory or topical medication depending on the skin type, followed by a sunblock.

I have been a customer at Corrective Skincare for more than 10 years. The treatments and products are focused on the health and well being of a person's skin. I did one 30-minute virtual appointment with her and she was knowledgeable and helpful.
I have to wear a mask 10 hours a day because of my job and I started struggling with my skin this past summer.
After a month of following her advices and new routines I can say my skin looks much clearer. I know it takes time and a lot of patience but I'm seeing improvements and I'm really grateful.

I just had my first appointment with Jen and it was absolutely wonderful. I went to the Encino location and had no trouble parking (lot in back) nor finding the space in the plaza. Jen followed all Covid protocol beginning with a Covid waiver and only having one client at a time for service. I felt very safe and comfortable my entire visit. Jen wore a mask, face shield and gloves the entire time and sanitized anything that was touched by me.
My service itself was informative and relaxing. Jen is super knowledgable and answered all questions I had. I look forward to my next visit and to continue

I used to be a monthly regular at Corrective Skincare Santa Monica before COVID-19. I absolutely love the staff - they're helpful, kind and not trying to unnecessarily push products on you.

Corrective Skincare has been my go to place for keeping up with my skincare. I've suffered from cystic acne for years and they're the only solution that has worked for me (shoutout to Sophie and Jennifer!). Their products are very effective and I will not buy anything else. Sooo grateful I came across Corrective Skincare. I signed up for a Virtual Consultation and was contacted in less than 24 hours. The consultation itself was super informative and helpful. Jen is a-ma-ZING! Knowledgeable and fun girl to consult with for skincare. I highly recommend her virtual consultation if want to learn WHY your skin is the way it is, rather than someone just "recommending" products. At first I was a little weary doing a virtual consultation, especially for skincare.... but Jen completely changed my mind about it! She genuinely wants to help people and walks you through all of the steps required.
