You'll find Smooth Skin By Simona located at 151 South Doheny Dr., in the white building that houses salon suites. The building has the words "SOLA SALONS" on the front. On-site parking ($2 for first two hours) can be found in the parking garage, located at 121 S. Doheny Drive. Smooth Skin By Simona validates parking.
I found Simona over 5 years ago off the internet and have not stopped going! She is truly the best waxer ever, it doesn't hurt and she is so friendly she makes the time go by so fast! I had tried Pink Cheeks before. After years of searching I have finally found her. She's the most amazing waxer in all of Los Angeles.
What should I do beforehand? We recommend taking Advil an hour before your session. For best results, do not shave for 2-3 weeks beforehand. If you have not shaven in a while, you can trim, but do not trim too much. What should be avoided before my session? Don't drink too much caffeine. Don't tan or receive any harsh peelings.

I have gone to Simona for years now and wouldn't go to anyone else. She is outstanding and I have followed her to 2 locations. I am constantly complimented on my eyebrows that she styled/created for me. They were a disaster before I went to her with many beauticians doing a terrible job.
In the short time Simona has been allowed to be open during this pandemic she has followed the rules to perfection. She takes your temperature, keeps her room spotless, wears a mask and plastic cover and sprays your hands before she starts doing anything. Once you leave, the room is cleaned and sprayed

I have been going to Simona for about 15 years and wouldn't trust anyone else with my waxing needs. Simona is always on time, always professional and takes the time to make sure her services match your expectations. Simona personally books all of her appointments and fits me in on the days when I want to come in for an appointment. She also calls the day before to remind me I have an appointment. Plus, her office is easy to get to (they even validate for parking) and always clean and tidy. Simona truly is a one-woman powerhouse!

I've been going to Simona for years now, in fact I found her on yelp. It's not easy to find someone that knows how to do eyebrows; most just do the same thin eyebrows for all their clients. Simona is different; she does what's right for me, what makes me took my best! She is an artist! Love her!!!! Very lucky I found her.

Been going to Simona almost every month for over 15 years, and she is consistently excellent! So kind and personable, yet professional, clean, and efficient. There was a short season in which I searched and tried other waxing establishments more local to my new home but no one else comes close. I'll drive the extra 20miles in traffic happily.

Smooth Skin is the perfect name for Simona's business. She is an amazing aesthetician and phenomenal at what she does. I never knew waxing could be so pleasant and clean. The product she uses is nothing like the wax you will find at the nail shop, oh, no, no, no. I hesitate to even call it wax. Thanks to my friend Lisa G. I was able to find this wonderful person. When I first started going to Simona I had recently moved back up to south LA/North OC area, and was in needed of a waxer. I was tempted to go back to my girl in San Diego, just because you don't want to mess with waxing. Yeah I was insane to drive from the OC at the time, but she is worth it, trust me!
The minute I met Simona, I was impressed. The place she is located in is adorable, and parking was easy to find. Right away she wanted to do something

Simona is great!!! She's the first and only waxologist I've ever seen, (referred from a friend.) The wax she uses is top-of-the-line so it doesn't hurt as much. And she always chats with you and makes you feel at home during the whole process, very sweet lady. She's my other monthly friend that I actually look forward to seeing if you know what I mean -
I know people make their appts with her sometimes months in advance but I always make mine like a week in advance and she always has time for me (although I tend to go right after work or during lunch.)

I consider myself a veteran waxee and Simona does a great job. Her work is quick and consistent every time. She has never bruised me or removed skin. I usually get the Playboy and an eyebrow wax and I always get unsolicited compliments on my brows.
She is also great to talk to. I don't need a therapist because I have Simona. It's a twofer.
Simona will do the whole under carriage without batting an eye. I find her prices to be normal. I don't think she is over priced for what she does!!!!
