Luigi "Gigi" and Assunta "Suzy" Lahara, born in Naples, Italy, always had the passion for cooking home style Italian food for their family and friends. In 1973, they migrated to Montreal, Canada and opened up the first "Gigi's Italian Restaurant". After a successful 11 years of business, Suzy and Gigi made the decision to bring their passion to Stuart, Florida.
Luigi "Gigi" and Assunta "Suzy" LaHara dreamt of being able to share their Neapolitan cooking with the world. Now almost 50 years later, with 3 generations of the LaHara bloodline, we are continuing to share our home cooking with you and your family at Gigi's Italian Restaurant.

First time here, not to be rude, we just ordered soup after we tried the garlic knots which was tasteless and didn't want to order an entree. We finished our soup and left. The service wasn't great and will never return. We went to Santos, which we should have went to, but we wanted to see how the food was at Gigi's.

Finally went to this restaurant after being put off by their "cash only" requirement. Sat us quickly and brought us an order of garlic rolls and took our drink order. Put in an order for some soup and entrees that included salads. Soup came (without a spoon) in about 10 minutes and we expected the salads to follow, but right around the time we finished the soup our entrees arrived. I mentioned to the waitress that we were still waiting on the salads and she said, "Oh, you didn't get them? Let me check on that." Proceeded to eat our entrees a little miffed that the salads had not come first. That

I have been eating at Gigis for years. In all reality. It is one of the few places in this area where you can get a home cooked real Italian meal with great service and price. As for the negative reviews. First. Some people complain about everything and you can not make them happy no matter what you do. If you read their other reviews, you can verify this fact. Others have a conflict of interest and probably never ate at Gigis. Lastly, nobody is perfect 100% of them time, food items change and ingredients have to be changed up unfortunately. For instance. Crab is becoming so expensive because they

Was in Jensen Beach to visit my son and as I was driving saw this restaurant from the road. One night
We decided to give it a try. This Italian restaurant is absolutely delicious! Both my son and I loved everything we ordered. I had the pasta Putenesca and my son had chicken piccata with sides of meatballs and sausage. It was all delicious. The meal came with salad and bread drenched with flavored oil. We liked the bread so much we polished it off very quickly and the lovely waitress ( who’s name escapes me) brought us another. The service was attentive but not hovering and the bill reasonable

We went New Year's Eve. It was busy. We were able to sit outside which is great because I love sitting outside. Service was very slow, we had to ask for refills on water. The food was okay. I did enjoy the baked ziti. They don't have ranch which is huge in our house with our pizza, so that bummed the kids out. Overall for the price it was very affordable and good.

We are vacationing in Stuart and made our way to Jensen Beach and picked this Italian Restaurant. We are so glad we did! The service was amazing and the food was true authentic Italian. And price? No where else would you get a salad, garlic knots and an entree for less than $15. This place is definitely worth the 2 mile drive!

We picked up dinner for tonight. We have never been to Gigi's , it was awesome, enough food to feed two people, I had eggplant parmigiana that was the best I have ever had and my friend had chicken parmigiana and said it was tender and delicious, I highly recommend Gigi's small restaurant, it was wonderful also love the knot garlic rolls, I could make a meal of just them. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, we will be back. BTW for being take out they were busy, I'm happy for them.

From the minute we walked into Gigi's, Diana and her family welcomed us with open arms as though we were in their own home. The food is prepared with care and attention and is absolutely mouthwatering.
From the antipasto to buttery garlic knots, salad and our main entrees of veal and delectable pasta dishes, we could not have been more impressed (or stuffed). To top it all off, Diana served a slice of homemade rum cake for dessert.
Our only regret is that we didn't take pictures. We were so anxious to start eating we forgot! There's always next time.

What a surprise! One challenge when vacationing is not finding restaurants, (there are plenty) but restaurants you want to go back to again and again. After our first visit to GiGi's Italian Restaurant, that was our feeling. I also wanted to eat here at least twice to make sure our first visit wasn't a fluke. Between two visits, we tried many different dishes and came to the conclusion that Gigi's warrants this enthusiasm.
The gnocchi I had easily equaled the best I've eaten in Chicago, Philadelphia or New York or even Italy for that matter. The marinara sauce was to die

My family has been coming to Gigi's since they opened in the Stuart area in 1984. The food is ALWAYS magnificent, and the wait staff is attentive. It is apparent that everything is made and served with MUCH love! Go hungry and know you will take home enough for lunch the next day! No matter what you order, you can't go wrong. Definitely the best Italian restaurant in Martin County!

Cash only and opens at 4 PM. Good Italian restaurant atmosphere.
Everything came to us hot. Staff was warm but seemed quite busy and sometimes not able to keep up with us. Had to wait about five minutes for my drink to be re-filled.
The pizza was below average and had crust that was too thick. More than I like. The cheese was ordinary and not of great quality. Ingredients, in general, were below average making a below average pizza. Price was higher than a nearby restaurant with a superb pizza.
My chicken parmigiana was too salty. It had a lot of pasta but not much chicken. A sufficient amount

We recently moved to this area and visited Gigi's tonight for dinner. I don't remember when, if ever, I've enjoyed a more authentic and delicious Italian meal! We shared an antipasto plate. Perfect! I ordered chicken frances with a lemon butter wine sauce so perfectly flavored. My husband ordered veal dulce vida and thoroughly enjoyed it. We ended the meal with a couple of incredible cannoli's and coffee. The portion sizes caused us to leave the restaurant carrying 4 boxes. The chef obviously takes great care to use the best and freshest ingredients. The service was impeccable

Great pizza here!
We came in with a big of a ruckus really on our way back from an engagement party. We ordered a pizza for pick up but arrived much earlier before it would be ready so we all sat down and ordered a bottle of wine while we waited. The staff was slightly confused but really nice and accommodating. They were so much fun!
The pizza was ready quickly and was sooo good. We got a large and the slices were certainly large!
Definitely would come back!
