In 1950, on a salty Manteo waterfront, founder Burwell 'Burl' Evans fulfilled his dream of a hardware store on the Outer Banks. A Convenient, Friendly Hardware Store in Kitty Hawk, NC!
I have been a property owner in Kitty Hawk since 1994. Ace has been the place for my projects and hardware needs ever since.
I purchased my first hot tub from them in 1999 and it is still working today! They rescreen windows and doors. They give you good advice on how to tackle different jobs. In their large selection of hardware they always seem to have the items the big stores don't have or bother to have. More importantly the staff is friendly and they care about your business.

I needed a storm door rescreened. Since it is a rental property, I needed it done right away. All the people at this store are so nice and they promised it the next day. They called me the next day and I picked up the door. Wonderful job! Forget Lowes and Home Depot, I'm doing my shopping at Ace Hardware from now on. A special thanks to Andy.
