Hip shade structures provide protection for nearly any application as they are the most versatile shade on the market. No matter if you're shading a playground or park picnic area, hip end shades help provide protection from the sun's heat and harmful UV rays. Choose from surface or in-ground mounting and with or without our Glide Elbow mechanism for quick and easy shade fabric installation and removal.
One of the most economical and functional ways to provide shade to a playground, park, or pool space is to incorporate a square or rectangular hip shade structure. Our square shade units come in widths of 10 ft. to 60 ft. For customers in coastal areas or northern climates, we recommend adding our optional Glide Elbow fabric tensioning accessory which makes it easier to install, remove, and tension the shade canopy.
