We listen closely to the aesthetic, programmatic, financial and personal goals of our clients and then begin the design process that will ultimately manifest your dream projects. We are fundamentally interested in the relationship of architecture with nature, the creation of a meaningful place within a site, a logical and elegant response to program, the beauty of materials and the importance of climate and environmental demands.
WAMO Studio has extensive experience in a multitude of building types: high end custom homes, multi-family affordable housing, hospitality, commercial and civic. We have completed buildings to the highest LEED certification standard - Emerald as well as Passive House certified buildings. We offer interior design services in addition to the architectural services.
First, we work closely with you to clarify the project, taking note of your stated goals, program, and specific requirements. We define the required functions and spatial needs of the project and discuss site features, opportunities and limitations, building placement, etc. Next, we use the established program to begin concept diagrams.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
We worked with Carol and Vahid on a major remodel in White Rock. They were fantastic! Great ideas, easy to work with, and very responsive. We were able to take a VERY dated 1970s home and turn it into something we love. I can’t say enough good things.

We had an amazing experience with WAMO! The team is professional, conscientious and visionary. They listened with infinite patience to our ideas, and then executed our dreams in the most extraordinary ways! WAMO's relationships with both builders and suppliers is unmatched. They where very aware of our budget throughout the process. Their attention to detail allowed us to breathe freely during our year long build. We highly recommend this dynamic studio for any and all architectural needs.

It is so well insulated that we couldn't even hear construction of a house going up next door. And when it's sunny in the winter (most of the time), we don't even need to turn the heat on. This house is a

We recently moved to Santa Fe and purchased a 1940s house in a great location at a reasonable price, but it needed refurbishment. Vahid Mojarrab and Carol Ware, principals in the architectural firm WAMO, were recommended to us and we struck up an immediate rapport. The project took a two-level house and transformed it into two independent and private living units with separate private entrances. Vahid’s architectural design added the private entrance and additional window to the lower level, making the entry and main living room well-lit with natural light and accessible without conflicting with
