I highly recommend this place and Edgar Basto, the certified optician. He is friendly, professional, competent and knowledgeable. The place where I got my eye exam called me and told me they could not make my lenses like I wanted: with a slight tint indoors and full transition in the sun. I told them I would pick up the prescription for my new glasses and bring it elsewhere, since that made no sense to me at all. Edgar saved my life today! I have finals this week and a ton of work to do, and unfortunately my frames cracked at the gym. My optometrist wanted to charge me the full price of new frames (250), so I decided to give this place a shot. Took Edgar 10 minutes to swap out a broken screw and we were good as new. Saved me a ton of money compared to whole new frames.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Edgar. He concerned a health of my eyes and tried to meet the best possible vision with glasses. He examined my vision very carefully while most optometrists don't really care. He ensured that I get comfortable with wearing glasses as well as vision. I highly recommend.

I Googled "eyeglasses repair near me" and found Edgard's. I walked in today (Saturday) without an appointment. I didn't ask his name, but the gentleman who helped me was extremely knowledgeable and kind. He adjusted the bent arm of my eyeglasses (not purchased here) and within minutes I was back in my car, on my way home with my eyeglasses as good as new. Thank you kind sir. I'll return when I need my next pair of eyeglasses.

I am SO BLESSED, that I found such an AMAZING, EYE GUY!!! Edgar is kind, professional, and made sure I am comfortable with my new glasses! I needed them, asap....and he had them ready in one hour!! Great Service!! Got the perfect set of glasses and they were done in no time. I was finally able to get the right prescription with no problem. The glasses frames are just beautiful. I had broken my glasses in the morning and I needed replacements immediately but everywhere I called I had to wait 5 to 8 business days for them to be ready. My wife found Edgar's Eyewear through Yelp reviews and we were shocked when we found out he can have them ready the same day you go in. The eye exam was no more than 30 minutes and after an hour and a half my new glasses were ready to go. He does amazing work. When in need of glasses please go see him. He will not disappoint.

Edgar has been great. I had to change glasses and lens recently because I was too rough on them playing with my kids. He recommended the flexible type and they are still going strong. I have been going to him for the past ten years and I would recommend him to anyone.
