In addition to removing asbestos and lead paint, A#1 Abatement offers water damage repairs to home and business. We are able to gut the inside of your home and replace ruined drywall. We are IICRC Certified. We are also licensed for mold removal. In instances where water was not promptly and completely removed, mold and mildew will begin to grow and spread rapidly.
A#1 was called when I our pipe broke in our basement with all the bad weather, snow, and freezing weather. I called A#1 and they were out here within 3 hours. I am very pleased with how they did our water/flood cleanup. They immediately had men, machinery, and equipment in place and I felt better talking to their office.

Positive: Professionalism
Good response time and quality of work. They do not give official receipts, it's hand written. Also, they're not very good a communicating after getting the job done. I had asbestos testing and got the results but no one has reached back out to me about what my results really mean.

Don't even waste your time calling them I called & was told someone would come out that day to give me an estimate I waited around then had to call them back just to be told someone would come the next day which they didn't now here we are a week later no one has even bothered to reach out to me very unprofessional my roof is damaged & my ceiling has a huge hole in it guess it's just no big deal to them I'll just take my business elsewhere

Pros: fast, got the job done within a week
Cons: after much verbal and written emails about what I wanted done when they sent a contract they only included haf of what I wanted (and because of the back and forth I signed the contract too fast). Then I had to get a new quote for the rest of the job. They aren't very nice to your home: hand prints on the wall, other smudges (I had just painted so it was obvious), a few dings on the wall, some paint above the tape (which they left on the first job), and when they piled the carpet they piled it against the wall (that had just been
