Coastal Cremations has been serving the families of Wilmington and surrounding counties since 2012. We offer simple dignified on-site cremation services. Every year since opening we are blessed that more and more families have chosen us as their cremation provider. In 2015, we opened another location in Carolina Shores to offer cremation and burial services to the residents of Brunswick and Horry County.
Enjoys Life - Ricky started in Funeral Service his Junior year at Apex High School where he graduated in 1975. Graduated from Gupton - Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, Ga. in 1977. Worked most of career in Wake County, NC before moving to North Myrtle Beach in 2015 to work with Coastal Cremation Carolina Shores.

In the beginning of the process to make arrangements for our dearly departed, Kindal was outstanding. He made the hard situation a little easier to go through. The prices were extremely reasonable and about 1/2 the price of other places around EXCEPT the memorial cards and bookmarks we feel were over priced; but chose to pay for the convenience.
We did have some issues, however, David, the owner, called me ery quickly and personally to discuss the problems we had. He treated me with such compassion and respect. He took the time to discuss things with me and never rushed me off the phone. The things

We recently used Coastal Cremations to fulfill the wishes of our loved one. I would recommend them for extraordinary care for both your loved one and the family. My father passed away unexpectedly at the New Hanover Medical Center, at the end of a week vacation at Holden Beach. Since we are not from the Wilmington area, we had no idea who to trust with arrangements. We did some searching online and came across Coastal Cremations. This all occurred on a Sunday. This was my fourth experience with arranging funerals in general, and my second with Coastal Cremations. I dealt with David Miller, and I can’t say enough about how sincere he was, we went through the whole process together, it was like he was caring for someone he knew😢. I will never forget his kindness and entirely recommend Coastal to others.

Kindall was exceptionally sympathetic, humble, and accommodating. After the death of a dear friend the family just wanted to have him cremated and be done with it. After speaking to my friends Son he wanted a more suitable send off for his dad. Kindall made it all happen after painstakingly planning a memorial service. Kindall came thru for us on short notice.
The only complaint/recommendation I have is that coastal cremations needs to make it clear on their website that they are a independent (Sub)? Contractor? and that they utilize another business to conduct Services.

I had to handle my dad’s cremation and arrangements from out of state. Mike and staff helped me every step of the way. They answered all my questions. Handling everything with dignity. I would highly recommend coastal cremations. It was a overall good experience during a very trying and hard time for me. They made everything simple for me, with no worry. Thank you mike and staff.

Losing a loved one is never easy. Coastal Cremations made this difficult time of hurt very easy on my family. I would like to thank Kendal, i’ve never felt so much compassion from a funeral director before. I was kind of skeptical about this place judging it from the outside but this is the true definition of don’t judge a book by its cover!

I just want to say how grateful I am for David Miller of Coastal Cremations, Inc. Not only is he the most affordable cremation service in town, but he has the biggest heart too. He was so caring and accommodating, taking time to explain the whole process and put my mind at ease, and even contacting and visiting hospice over and over to obtain my husband's death certificate when they were dragging their feet for days to write it. He made the process go smoothly and gave me complete confidence in his services. David even personally performs every cremation at his company to ensure the highest level
