John is now an old friend. I met him a few years ago when my new garden grew into my main line sewer pipe. He cleared the pipe and cut the roots (subsequently I pulled that plant and replaced it with something less invasive).
But 9 people living in a Sunset house can cause future plumbing backups, and John is quick to come out, quick to diagnose, and extremely helpful when cleaning out built up grease etc... I recently met his son Sean as well, and both of them are exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to call them if you have trouble.

I highly recommend John Prior and his son Sean for your sewer and drain needs! I found them using these very online reviews, and I can assure you that they live up to the glowing testaments outlined here. John first helped us out right when Covid was becoming an issue, first rooting our clogged up sewer line and clearing it of a huge amount of roots. In doing so, he found that the 100-year-old pipe near the sidewalk had all but crumbled away--something we knew was likely very close to happening due to the age, and indeed finally had. John & Sean gave us a very fair bid, and completed the work safely
