Spectrum's strength stems from its blend of commercial aviation supply chain services coupled with its quality-driven, customer-focused business practices. Spectrum has 3 distinct but integrated elements of business - Aftermarket Parts Trading, 145 Repair Station and Precision Machine Shop - providing their valued customers with a pragmatic range of solutions for their parts needs and repair requirements.
Spectrum Aerospace opened in 1986 as an aftermarket aircraft parts supplier. By incorporating a 145 Repair Station into the business, Spectrum delivers a more comprehensive scope of services to its customers by enabling its parts traders to provide realistic, first-hand parts repair knowledge.

Services
Spectrum Aerospace was founded by Lars Dirks in 1986 as an aftermarket supplier of commercial aircraft rotables and surplus components in a 1500 square foot space. By 1995 Spectrum began purchasing aircraft for teardown to expand its parts inventory. In 2008 Spectrum received its FAA 145 Repair Station Rating to enhance Spectrum's available services to its growing parts customer base.
Spectrum Aerospace is a premier aviation supply chain partner comprised of 3 distinct areas of business and specializing in Boeing and Airbus commercial transport aircraft parts. Spectrum is an aftermarket parts supplier, an FAA 145 Repair Station and a precision machine shop. These areas of business function cohesively - providing Spectrum's customers with a high level of integrity, efficiency and measurable cost savings.
Spectrum Aerospace's 14 CFR 145 Repair Station has grown exponentially since receiving its Air Agency Rating in 2008. The repair shop's dual release FAA/EASA tags are well-respected internationally, and consistently regarded as high quality workmanship within the aviation industry. In response to our customer's needs, Spectrum's Capabilities List is expanded and updated often and can be searched here.
Spectrum's Precision Machine Shop has always been utilized as an integral support arm of Spectrum's MRO. The machine shop's big advantage is that it also has the engineering capabilities and equipment to provide additional product design and machining services for its customers, as well as the FAA authority to fabricate sub-componentry for Spectrum's repair orders.

The best aircraft maintenance service around! Bobby runs a clean and orderly shop. He's responsive to questions/concerns, extremely knowledgeable and thorough on the work he and his guys perform. His prices are very reasonable. I've used his service for several years and have had 0 issues - unlike other maintainers I've hired to work on my planes.
