Services
Each year, about 30,000 people walk into our studio, leave their worries at the door, and spend quality time with friends, family, and colleagues. We strive to provide an energetic, uplifting, and creative space for private events, bridal showers, team building parties, birthdays, baby showers, and more.
We'll guide you through your canvas painting step-by-step! All of the below paintings are for beginners and are pre-sketched with outlines to make the experience easier and more fun for you! We always encourage everyone to use their artistic freedom in changing colors and textures to make each painting their own, so some of the below paintings have more than one example to portray that.
Parking is free on the street or in the small shared lot behind our building (first come first serve). Kids parties are available for kids 6+, and all kids must be accompanied by at least 1 adult during the party. Each guest will create two of our large, 8oz 100% natural soy wax candles with custom-crafted fragrances.
From tarps to table cloths, we'll handle the whole party set-up and clean-up. All you have to do is send out the invites! All of the paints, canvasses, supplies, and artist guidance/instruction is included with the cost. Kids parties are available for kids ages 6-18, and younger children may need to be accompanied by an adult.
Canvases are 1114. In the kit is also: set of acrylic paints, brushes, paper plate, printed picture of final painting. Our professional artist guides everyone through it step-by-step, and engages the audience for socializing & maximum virtual fun!. All that's required of you: a list of everyone's names, physical addresses, and emails at least 12 days in advance so that we can ship the kits and email the Zoom link to them.

Such a fun and relaxing space! I love that we could bring our own food and drinks in while creating art. The artists and hosts are so helpful. The energy is great! I highly recommend Studio 614. Perfect for a date, girls night, birthdays, celebrations and treating yourself to a night downtown and CBUS experience!

What a great experience! It was so nice working with Emma to secure the venue and setting up for a business meeting. I brought the snacks/drinks and she was able to set up to look professional. I highly recommend the service to others looking to host a meeting/off-site event. Thanks and we will be back!

I've been to a few paint and ships through different companies but Studio 614 is the BEST! Great location, street parking and some behind the studio (get there early for that!) BYOB and food if you want, the staff is always so friendly and helpful! The new lay out is nice too during the pandemic, helps with social distancing! Love the selection of paintings, variety of days and times it's schedule, pricing is reasonable and they have sales (follow them in IG!). Can't wait to bring my son in for a Paint the Stadium event!

I partnered with Studio 614 to host a virtual painting party for the Ohio State College of Optometry and they were awesome! While I coordinated the experience with Meg (the owner) our virtual experience was led by Natalie. Both of our contacts were fantastic, understanding of our party's accommodations, and had wonderful customer service the entire time. They shipped everything needed to our guests' doorsteps and made this experience so easy. We look forward to having another event with Studio 614 in the future!

I did the candle making workshop at Studio 614, my first time there but certainly not my last. We were made to feel very welcome & very safe with seats 6ft apart, masks required, gloves etc. Not only is my candle my favorite thing that I'm so proud of haha, the service was amazing. Staff was very polite, helpful and patient.

This is an amazing studio. It’s so incredible and I could go back again and again for different things. I love all the extra ideas about kids cancelled birthday parties, private parties for 8 or more for more social distance. Your BLM classes. This a business and a team of very special people. I’m a veterinarian and don’t have a very good artistic… side to my brain naturally but they are so wonderful and scrolling through the posts of all the things they can do that I haven’t even begun to fully explore makes me even more impressed and excited. I’m sure all

First of all, this space is simply gorgeous and inspiring. It has kind of an urban industrial charm to it- furniture made from up-cycled objects such as doors, cinderblocks, tires, boards- tons of unique clocks as well. I found it to be a very relaxing environment.
We were walked through step by step how to make a candle which ended up being HUGE - way bigger than I thought it was going to be for sure. It was made inside a planter that can be reused once the candle has burnt out. What was cool about the Studio 614 workshop is that we got to thread the wick and attach it ourselves as well as learn

Signed up for a candle class today because I won a BOGO ticket. Concrete holders ..got to choose the scents ... painting the concrete was totally optional ... I'm glad I did . Lots of different mediums to experience here .. parking can be a challenge depending on time of day and which day it falls on.

Yet another fantastic class at Studio 614! In the past I had taken a string art and paint your pet class here (see original review), so the expectations were high & they exceeded every one again today!
I have participated at a similar class at another business for a fundraiser, but it was nothing like the experience I had today. Not only did we get to select from a wide variety of scents & essential oils, but we really got to dive into the entire process. Megan did an outstanding job assisting us with everything from how to create our wick to painting our concrete candle holder and

I've taken three art classes at this studio and have loved them all!
I like that they offer more than just paint-in-a-group type classes. So far I've done the string art on wood, make your own essential oil candle, and knit your own blanket. The instructors are always patient and helpful! I also really like that these are skills you can use in the future, maybe to make friends gifts or decorate your own place.
The studio space in itself is beautiful! I love how clean and chic is it. Also everything was designed with reclaimed materials - the 'tables' are painted doors. I

We were trying hard to find a way to be cool parents for our daughters sixteenth birthday. We were successful! We initially scheduled five to "paint your pet" and due to lovely Ohio weather, we had to cancel at the last minute. The folks at Studio 614 were generous with the reschedule allowing us to choose any other night to come and have our party.
Easy to find, easy to park, and the folks that run the operation make it fun for the participants. Bring your own drinks, snacks, wine etc. They graciously offered us an IPA and since we're driving other people's kids we refused

Columbus is a creative city no doubt, so here's the question...which came first the chicken or the egg?! Is Studio614 drumming up the creative culture, or is the cbus culture starting and keeping awesome studios like this around?! I don't know the answer! But, regardless, Studio614 fits this city like an afro on Bob Ross!
Located in an area just north of The Ohio State university's Campus, off of interstate 71, Studio614 is easy to access and has street parking.

I was here this past Saturday as part of a bachelorette party. We were able to reserve and pay online prior to the event. We were given two painting design choices: a tree or an elephant. Martha, who taught our class, was so sweet, and patient. She gave instruction, and walked around giving assistance when we needed it. She even added a little pumpkin to my friend's tree painting when she asked her to. We had all the supplies we needed, and everyone had such a great time. Martha even took group pictures of us with our finished work (and using multiple phones).

Studio 614 was an amazing time for my friend's bachelorette party this weekend!! Meg Sharbaugh at the studio was so great in helping me plan the event to make it perfect for the bride. She was communicative and flexible in what items we choose to paint, the designs we painted, allowing us to bring plenty of drinks/snacks, and made it super easy for our bachelorette group to buy our tickets to the event individually online ahead of time. Meg answered all my questions leading up to the event with patience and made the day such a memorable time! We all know how fun paint & sip classes can

How fun! My friends and I went to an arm knitting event on a frigid winter night. It was a much needed girls outing! The arm knitting was surprisingly simple - the assistants were very sweet and helpful. It was a relaxed atmosphere and we all had a great time. We're all a little type A so we were laughing at each other being so intent on our work, but it was a success! And my scarf looks beautiful.
