Wainscot Solutions
Wainscot Solutions Inc was founded by Michael Yedowitz in 2005. Michael Yedowitz has been in the building business since 1985. In those years Michael has had the good fortune to work in many different areas geographically, as well as many different areas culturally. Throughout those years Michael has seen and worked in homes that were of a vintage where classic millwork was displayed in many different fashions, both interior and exterior.

While simultaneously working in new construction Michael became aware of the lack of the same beautiful millwork, except maybe in a multimillion dollar home somewhere in an affluent area. So seeing an opportunity, Michael decided to provide a service that could allow that average person to afford such beautiful architectural enhancements such as Raised Panel Wainscoting in their homes.
Services
Wainscot Solutions offers a unique way to add wainscoting to your projects. Every element is custom-made for you. Measured on your site, products are assembled at ours with top-quality construction techniques. Wainscoting is delivered fully assembled to your site. It takes only a fraction of the time and minimal skills to complete the installation versus traditional methods.
Our classic raised and recessed panel wainscoting is the most authentic available in the industry. Our recessed panel wainscoting is also referred to as "flat panel wainscoting" and "Shaker style wainscoting". Ours is the most authentic and versatile available in the industry. Our Verdi style wainscoting is for those of you who want to increase the level of detail in your wainscoting.
Back at the turn of the last century, if you were building a home, not only would there be wainscoting in every room, but a crew of highly skilled craftsmen would have to build it for you.

They would mill all the separate components, stiles, rails, and panels with a type of joinery commonly known as "cope and stick" paneled wainscoting and then assemble them with a panel that is actually raised or recessed from the surface of the stiles and rails; hence the term "raised panel wainscoting" and "recessed panel wainscoting."Well that's the way we do it.
Our Verdi style wainscoting is for those of you who want to increase the level of detail in your wainscoting. Many clients come to us to look for Verdi Style Wainscoting. What we do, is we use a 1 thick material for our stiles and rails and we mill a larger profile than found in our classic styles.
Our recessed panel wainscoting is also referred to as "flat panel wainscoting" and "Shaker style wainscoting". Ours is the most authentic and versatile available in the industry. Using the same authentic style of joinery found in our "raised panel wainscoting" we are able to create many different styles and configurations as seen in our design options 3 thru 8.

Report
I rarely write reviews but in this instance I'm compelled to do so. We had Wainscot Solutions do the cathedral ceiling in our living room - the appearance of the room was completely changed, unbelievably! Talk about a "wow" factor - it turned out absolutely stunning.
It wasn't that the room was ugly or anything - but it just didn't render itself to comfortable living. Plus the ceiling was popcorn textured. For years we didn't use it much except for a few hours during holidays because it seemed too cold and impersonal, without much character. We tried different wallpapers, different paint colors
