Sean from Portland Pest Guard was great. I had an ant problem recently and heard they had done some work at a friends house. I called and they responded immediately. They were in and out and did a great job at a great price. I will definitely use them again if I have another issue. I recommend them and I like that they are locally owned and from the community and been doing this for so long!

We saw a rat in the basement!!!! So after my shock had worn off, I called and spoke to Sean. He is so incredibly helpful and was even willing to fit me in that day! We ended up having him come the following day and he examined the whole house, inside and out. He set up necessary traps and has a schedule of when he will return. He is priced very reasonably and gives your issue all of his care and attention. I highly recommend calling him if you need services!

Our friends referred us to him, so happy we were given his name! This guy is honest and extremely knowledgeable. He's not looking to just take your money or over sell you. We had a horrible ant problem that he was able to fix right away! It's been 3 years now and we've never had an issue again. We love him.

We bought our house almost four years ago now and quickly found ourselves living on top of the worlds largest ant farm. I've never seen this many in my entire life!! Well a quick call to this business met me with the kindest man ever and very quick with a good education on ants. This post is belated for sure but I can now tell you that after more than two years we haven't seen another ant. You can't, and I mean can not find a better exterminator. This is my pest guy permanently

Sean was a very nice person to work with. He was readily available when I called and was able to schedule a time to come out as soon as possible! He was very honest about what needed to be done for a home at a reasonable cost. He did not require that we fill out a contract for repeated service, but that we could call as needed. When he came for our appointment, Sean was friendly with our dogs and gave us great information to prevent possible future pests from entering our home!

So I have ants, just like everybody, and my plan was to man-up and deal with the creepy things. UNTIL...I start getting these black, furry spiders with bodies the size of a dinner plate coming to visit IN MY HOUSE! I would run for the can of Raid and drown them. AND THEN the Wasp Invasion a few days later and now I can't go outside. At all.
Nothing in my arsenal seems to be working so I figure I'm a little out of my element here. I started calling pest control companies and was told the first visit prices, which just about knocked me out of the ballpark. Between $250.00 and $400.00

I called last week and made an appointment for Monday at 2pm. My rental property was supposed to confirm or deny due to a state law. Apparently they never did but Sean still came all the way out to my house and was on time for the appointment. Even though he could not reach anyone after servers tries. The miscommunication was totally on our ends and I had forgotten due to having a baby 4 days ago.
We had to move forward with an in house pest person via our rental property. But the 5 star rating is based on excellent customer service. He still showed up on time and was extremely kind and understanding

Sean couldn't have been nicer. He was early went through the house inside and out to find where the mice were getting in and found a hole in the foundation that we didn't see under the deck. It was something he couldn't fix so he told me how to take care of the problem and then didn't charge me. This type of services just doesn't happen any more. Everyone else will make you pay for the house call. He was even nice enough to go over my treatment receipt for the Ant treatment I had done by another company and let me know it was a fair price but advised he can do the same

We called due to rodent sounds we were hearing in our attic. Sean was very friendly on the phone, and promptly squeezed us in for the next day. He explained his weekly work process and cost structure.
He showed up on time, still very friendly, thoroughly looked through the points of the attic he had access to, and meticulously looked around the outside of the house.
In the end he decided to refer us to another company for our specific problem since he felt they would be more experienced with our roof-rodent vs squirrel dilemma. We appreciated his honesty and his expertise.

He spoke with me on the phone for quite a while explaining what I should, what would make the problem worse, and how I could handle it.
He gave me another company's name and phone number. I was so impressed that he wasn't making any money on the advice he gave me, and that he took the time to explain everything in such full detail.
