Supportive and dynamic environment for high school students with learning differences. My son has completed 3 quarters of his Freshman year at this private school, and this is the best fit for him. There are 6 - 10 students in each class, so there are less distractions for him than when he was in public school. This also enables the teacher to provide individual instruction when needed. His anxiety level has dropped dramatically since attending Bayhill, and his confidence level is high. His homework is manageable but at a challenging level. We do have to commute into Berkeley each day, but it is

My daughter is currently a junior at Bayhill and has attended the school since her freshman year. She is a learner who struggles with just about every learning challenge you can imagine. While the statistical profile of a student like my daughter is not promising, Bayhill has made the learning accessible, doable and impactful. Bayhill's classes are small. The teachers are unbelievably dedicated. (One English teacher still helps former students edit papers even now that they are in college.) The new campus (in Berkeley near the gourmet ghetto) is cozy, welcoming and amazingly equipped for

Bayhill High School is an extraordinary educational institution recently moved to Berkeley from Oakland. This is an academic high school intended for kids with learning challenges. The caliber of staff and faculty is extremely high, almost beyond belief. The new facilities (the school has taken over the building that formerly housed the upper school at Archway) is quite nice. The school is well organized, and has a nice and fun (but academically serious) feeling about it. Classes are quite small, and each schedule is individually tailored.

This place is amazing! my little brother goes to this school. he used to go to a public school where he had trouble learning when there is 30 children to one teacher. this school has changed my brother for the better. gave him a chance to catch up with his studies and they really care about there children and what they are learning.. they also have a great couseling program for your kids. this is not just a school. this is a place where you child can get away from the bullies at a regular school and any other learning problems they have and really get the help they really need to understand what
