After receiving his J. D. degree from Duquesne University School of Law, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, David graduated from the FBI Academy and served as a special agent with the FBI from 1986-1991. I called for information to see if they specialize in representing as a tenant attorney. The lady said "we only do it for landlords." The website says otherwise BTW. And I asked did she know of any that do assist. I heard rummaging of papers in the background. Silence then she hung up. No end greeting, goodbye, nada. I'll take my business elsewhere especially if the phone service isn't wanting to help that business.

I called this law office to ask for legal representation and after telling my story, the woman that answered the phone asked me who the defendant would be.
I spelled out the name and then she asked me what my full name was. I gave her my full name and spelled that out, too, thinking this information was being used to proceed.
She then informed me that the defendant is a client of theirs and that they would not be able to help me.
She made sure she had my full name before telling me this, which is manipulative and dishonest to me.
She should have just told me right after I gave her the defendant

In my opinion they were not worth the money. Seemed unprepared when in court and meetings concerning divorce. I pretty much had to be prepared with own evidence even though they were provided with it and I was charge considerably by them to review. In court I was not impressed, they had no drive whatsoever. Many times they had been given information that would have had proven my case and caught the other party in lies, but due to their lack of preparation it never happened.Seemed like they don’t care about the client. Only thing they care about is how much money they can get out of you. With

I used attorney Schanbacher for my divorce. I would not recommend him to anyone. He was not organized at all except when asking for more money. Several times in court and other meetings failed to provide evidence to judge or divorce master that was given to him prior. Costing me thousands of dollars.He talks a good game to get your retainer, but when it comes down to providing what you expect from a lawyer with all his so-called experience, he falls way short in my opinion. When you call him out on his mistakes or question him about what your paying for. He cops and instant attitude. Believe me

As I near $40k, over a year and a half in divorce expenses, I could not imagine having a better lawyer and ally than Dave Schanbacher. What a relief to have found Dave Schanbacher! I was concerned about the first lawyer I hired, because they seemed distracted, unable to locate papers I had previously given to them and not able to grasp the whole picture. Worriedly, I asked several of my lawyer friends who they personally would use and each one recommended Dave. Boy, were they ever right! I was so relieved at the very first meeting, when he quickly went through my huge, messy pile of papers and was able to figure things out in his head, not even using a calculator.
