The Canvas Factory, has been in business since 1985, and we take great pride in our quality custom work. We specialize in Full Boat Covers, T-tops, Biminis, Windshield-back Covers, Console/Instrument Covers, Sunshades, Enclosures, Carpet and Carpet Runners, BBQ Covers, and Upholstery. Some of the other things we do are: washing, restitching, and waterproofing canvas as well as repair existing canvas.
For your convenience we provide dockside service. We do not use standard industry tubing to make our bimini tops. If we are making an aluminum bimini top we use O93 heavy wall tubing, and for a stainless steel bimini top we will use heavy wall O83-316 grade stainless steel. This will pull your canvas top tighter and requires less maintenance in polishing; subsequently, making a better looking cover.

We live in Seattle and needed a sun shade for our Tiara 3600 Open. We liked what we saw on-line from Canvas Factory but we were worried about how to get the measurements right from such a long distance. Brian walked us through the process using FaceTime and it worked out great. Our cockpit is now a comfortable, useable part of the boat. The Canvas Factory shade is a huge upgrade.

Brian and his team have the sun shade process down pat. He built one for me up here 8hrs away for my Key West 239fs. It’s not the cheapest but definitely the nicest you will find. You will need to install Mate Series rod holders with backing plates to hold the pressure applied by stringing it up. Standard rod holders aren’t strong enough. He’s very personable and is always available to walk you through the process. Quality and service is A++

I have a 32 Everglades Center Console. Brian did a terrific job. He was patient and instructive in measuring the boat and constructing the sun shade for the foredeck. By using FaceTime the Canvas Factory was able to carefully measure and ultimately install the shade The operation could not have gone better.

I can’t say enough about how great it was working with Brian Crist on the custom bow shade for my 24’ center console. The quality of workmanship that Boat Canvas Factory provides is second to none. Their shade poles are stronger than any you’ll find anywhere else. I did the measuring and installation myself with Brian guiding me each step of the way (over the phone). The process is pretty straightforward if you’re a little bit handy and he has video tutorials on YouTube if you’re more of a visual learner like me. Overall I am very happy I went through the process of doing the custom shade

Brian and the team did a great job on the sunshade for my new 21’ Sea Hunt. I was located across the state from him so we had to do all measurements and planning remotely. He made sure that I was very thorough with preparations, measurements and Brian took the time on a weekend to walk me through the install of the hardware. Brian and Canvas Factory was awesome. I found them on YouTube and called. He walked me through the proper dimensions and was super patient. He knows what he needs and why. The result was perfect. His turn around time was only days. It was a bit of work but I learned a lot on what I wanted out of my shade, stuff I did not know I wanted. My guest love it and because of the time we spent on the phone via picture and video was worth the final shade. The wife wants shade and now she has it! Great job. I would order again.

Brian was a pleasure to work with. He walked me through every step of the process including doing a FaceTime while doing all the measurements to ensure I was measuring correctly. The videos he had showing how to install the two clips on the hardtop were very helpful for me, especially drilling into my newer boat!! Pole measurements were provided to him on a Saturday and I had the poles by Tuesday. Measured for the shade on Wednesday and had the shade delivered on Monday. Fits perfectly and looks great. The shade it provides is incredible and makes the bow so much cooler on hot summer days. With
