Just wasn’t a good fit for our situation. Joe’s guidance on liability insurance was very informative, but as for “investments”, half of our money went into annuities, which we did not want. The other half went to a 3rd party investment firm, which did ok. Then we were sold an insurance policy which the premiums were very high compared to an almost identical policy with our Prudential agent. If you are looking for whole life or universal life insurance, please go to your own agent and compare rates. You may be be pleasantly surprised.

We chose Sequinox because our daughter had chosen them, and had nothing but good things to say about them. She is a hard person to please, and we felt that if she really was impressed with Sequinox and their people, then they would certainly be good for us. In my early sixties I was unexpectedly terminated from my lifelong job. I had expected to work into my late sixties to early seventies. I had experience with Sequinox because they are my parents' financial adviser. I have been a client of Sequinox for several years and have also gotten to know most of the staff quite well. They have been an excellent client focused investment company until recently. My last few visits and encounters have been less then adequate. I've been informed that the owner Joe is currently going through a divorce. He cant pull himself together and service his clients.
