Isidore Electronics Recycling
Homeboy Electronics Recycling is a certified and award-winning social enterprise offering nationwide service for the proper disposal and management of your IT assets. Whether you are a large organization in a compliance-driven industry or a small office needing a simple pickup, our team can help. We are a nationwide electronics recycling company that can handle all your commercial e-waste recycling and ITAD needs.

We demanufacture electronics at the end of their useful life, recovering the metals, plastics, and other materials they consist of. We refurbish and remarket devices and components that can continue to work, focusing on maximum traceability and value recovery. We offer hard drive wiping, degaussing, and shredding services - at your facility or ours - designed for the most stringent requirements.
Services
If you have bulky items or individual items weighing more than 40 pounds, shipping can be quite expensive. Contact us if you would like a custom quote. Our mail-in electronics recycling kits provide a convenient way to responsibly recycle from the comfort of your home or office. One transparent price includes shipping and R2-certified processing (including data destruction).
Headquartered in Downtown Los Angeles, Homeboy Electronics Recycling offers comprehensive, nationwide services for the proper disposal and management of your IT assets. As a certified electronics recycler, we are here to help when you are refreshing your company's computers, disposing of obsolete inventory, or just clearing old electronics out of storage.
We are ready and waiting to provide you with electronics recycling pickup and e-waste pickup services for all your electronic assets. We can assist you anywhere in the country and can pick up by the pallet or the truck-load. Schedule a pickup of ready-to-go material at your dock or request our "white glove" service if you need help moving, packaging, and palletizing equipment.
If you are in the Southern California area, our Commerce headquarters is open for e-waste dropoffs Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) 10 AM - 3 PM - helping you avoid paying our pickup fee (starting around $100 depending on your location). To keep our customers and staff safe, we are open for drive through drop offs only.
Since 2011, we have provided turnkey e-waste collection events around Southern California, including community cleanups as well as employee and tenant engagement events. Each event is tailored to the needs of our customers and can include hard drive shredding and/or document destruction in addition to electronic waste collection.

Great service, and an easy way to get rid of a bunch of old stuff (old printer, stereo system, space heater) in a more sustainable way than just tossing it in the trash. And big bonus that it contributes in some small way to the mission of Homeboy Industries. I never go out to Commerce, but it was actually a pretty short trip. (Only constructive suggestion is to clearly mark the dock you're supposed to pull up to. There's a small Homeboy Industries sign in the office, but you can't really see that from the street.)

When I first arrived it was unclear where to park. I called the phone number but was dumped to voicemail. When I figured out where to park, three homeboys tripped over each other to help me. Excellent service once you figure out where you need to be.

I work at a small biotechnology company and our storage unit was filled with a bunch of unused lab equipment in various stages of disrepair. My company recently hired Homeboy Recycling to finally help us do some much needed spring cleaning and I have nothing but good things to say! We had contacted other companies prior to Homeboy Recycling who were wary and unwilling to work with us, because all our recycling was not normal office equipment (large robotic liquid handlers, microscopes, centrifuges, etc). But Homeboy Recycling didn't bat an eye; they actually had experience in helping other

I love Homeboy Industries and was excited to learn about their recycling program. They were able to come by and pick up all of the items I had, which saved me the headache of having to make multiple trips to haul the stuff. The guys were on time, friendly and professional. I will definitely use their services again. I was also happy to support a good cause while helping the environment! Thanks Homeboy!

Drove 30 miles and when we got there they told us they were closed. I called first and their message said they were open. 8 employees standing around. One told me they didn’t know when they would open again. I won’t be patronizing this organization again.

I purchased a used Panasonic PT-AE8000 projector from Homeboy Recycling. Arrived in quite a bad state, yet the owner reacted in a decent way to my complaint, replaced the unit with another one in a record time, while giving me back a full refund. Even though the recycled unit status might not be top-notch, the reaction of the managers of this company is trustworthy and respectable.

The team here made it so easy for me to recycle my single use batteries. Literally had to come over from East LA to do it but damn they're good! It'll cost you a small fee to recycle them, but at least you know it's better than a landfill!

Homeboy Recycling made this process so easy! I parked right outside their dropoff area, brought my boxes of recycling over, and met a really friendly staff member who sorted through my stuff. It took less than 5 minutes and it was so so easy and the staff member was incredibly helpful.

They picked up a large amount of e-waste from my business for a very reasonable fee. They were clean, courteous, and professional. I feel better knowing that the waste is going to be handled properly, rather that throwing it in the trash. Ana took my appointment, and they arrived on the agreed time. Their service saved me a lot of time and effort! I look forward to doing more business with them in the future!

My last printer went kaput, so I went to buy a new one. Being the minimalist that I am, I wanted to get rid of my printer as soon as possible. I found that selling it for parts would be more hassle than it's worth, so I looked up some e-waste options in the LA area. That's when I came across the listing for Homeboy Recycling.
Located in downtown Los Angeles, I made the 20 minute drive over here one weekday morning. Although I got there half an hour before they officially opened, the staff there happily tended to me and took my old printer off my hands. I also recycled an old heater that

This is a great branch off for the HomeBoy brand, but the execution is a little convoluted. Because we are fans of Home Boy Industries, we drove a distance to support them rather than someplace closer. When we got there, it seemed straightforward until someone came out to "help" and started paying through everything we had brought. Fine, except they made a huge mess in the back of my truck because there were certain things they won't take. No problem if you can't take it, but no need to throw stuff around in such a manner that I now can't drive my vehicle to another
