Our Discover Scuba class is perfect for the first timer down on vacation with only so much time to squeeze in everything they want to do. Now is a great time to learn to scuba dive and start a new adventure.
If you know you love scuba and want to earn a lifetime certification to dive, we can do that too. The first level of dive training requires 3 days of water training as well as some eLearning. Our Openwater certification classes are Friday, Saturday and Sunday every week, with custom private classes available during the week.

Services
If you have always wanted to check out scuba without committing to a whole weekend of training this is the class for you. This is a brief classroom session and a closely supervised dive in the Gulf of Mexico with all gear included. If you know how to swim and want to explore the undersea realm we'd be happy to take you!
Learning to dive is a fun weekend of training and getting certified to dive literally gets you a license for adventure. Once certified, you are allowed to dive without supervision in conditions you have been certified for. The core recreational progression of certification levels is Openwater, Advanced-Adventure, and Rescue Diver.
We offer divemaster led guided shore dives at the Saint Andrews State Park. Dives here can ranged from entry level to challenging for even experienced professionals so we plan our led dives for optimal conditions based on the tides and ocean conditions. Depths can range from 20' to 75' depending on how the dive is conducted.
We offer Several different types of charters to local shipwrecks. We will run a charter if 4 spots are paid for. Inshore Wrecks- Are our shallower shipwrecks with profiles in depths 45-75' and out about 7 miles. This is our most common charter. Certified Openwater divers (and above) only. Wrecks include the Black Bart, USS Strength and the Red Sea as well as the Hathaway Bridge Spans 1, 2, 12, and 14.
In addition to the core progression from Openwater, Advanced-Adventure, and Rescue certifications divers can focus on specific skills or "specialties." We offer a number of these specialties for divers looking to develop a stronger skill set. Different agencies recognize divers who achieve certain levels of training with differing titles.

I've been chartering with Panama City Diving since 2015 for a reason. Pat and his entire team are not only among the most professional, safe, and courteous crews I have ever dived with, they are just genuinely good, kind people. Do yourself a favor and get to know them! This is not to mention the incredible wildlife to be seen in PCB, particularly the Goliath Groupers almost every dive! You can't go wrong here.

Absolutely recommend this shop for all SCUBA experiences. Thanks to Ben and Josh for their assistance. Myself and 3 sons scheduled a last minute Discover SCUBA class, but needed a medical waiver. Ben assisted with coordinating with Dr. Rachael Smith for the waivers and then rescheduled our class for the next morning. Ben was very attentive to all our questions and needs and was very patient with me as we entered the water. We will go back every time we are at PCB.

Our instructor Courtney and her co-workers are great. She gave my husband and my son a patient and detailed teach on Scuba basics in the classroom before they began diving. She is a great teacher. My husband and my son had a blast time. Thankfully with Courtney’s guidance. I’d like to recommend this class to anyone who is interested in Scuba, but has not to be certified.

I have to say, Courtney, was the absolute best! Our group had a vast range of in-water experiences and she catered to everyone. Plus our group is not from the ocean area.
Totally fun and inspired several group members to gain full certification. Can't wait to come back for the more experienced dives! Hopefully we can do those with Courtney too!

Our 2 dive afternoon trip was great. My dad had trouble with buoyancy and clearing his ears. Travis was great in helping us on our first dive. We were scheduled for a Wednesday dive but unfortunately a storm rolled in and had to cancel. Luckily they were great at letting us easily move to Thursday. Would recommend this shop for sure.

We come and do a dive with Panama City diving every time we visit the area. We have dove Black Bart and the bridge spans repeatedly and we always see something new. Travis is generally our captain Ben is often the dive master and they both make sure we have fun and are safe. We love our relationship with Panama City diving we will keep coming back!
