Dr. Caillouette is the Joan and Andy Fimiano Endowed Chair in Orthopedic Surgery for Hoag Memorial Hospital. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in Adult Reconstructive Surgery who performs approximately 600 joint replacements annually.
He is Immediate Past Chairman of Newport Orthopedic Institute; a 30-physician group based in Newport Beach, California and was elected to serve as the founding Surgeon in Chief/Chief of Staff for Hoag Orthopedic Institute, a joint venture orthopedic specialty hospital he co-founded that opened in 2010.He has served on the Board of Managers of the Institute since its inception.

I had a great experience at Hoag Orthopedic Institute. Dr Calluioette did an amazing job on my hip replacement. I can’t believe how quickly I’m recovering. I also can’t say enough about all the staff at HOI. Everyone I came into contact with was talented and caring. They couldn’t do enough to make me comfortable and ensure a speedy recovery.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Dr. Caillouette and his staff. He was recommended to me by a very good friend. Since then, I've recommended him to three others. They have all had positive results and are very pleased with their outcome. He has used his considerable talent to replace my left knee joint and just two weeks ago did a revision on the right one after the knee cap had tilted up. I just wish I had known about Dr. Caillouette before having the first total knee joint replacement. I know I would not have needed that revision.

This was my second full knee replacement! I had my first replacement done in Europe in 2009!
My latest experience with Dr. Caillouette and his team far exceeded my expectations. From day one I had extremely attentive staff looking after me and although inundated with e-mails, texts and phone calls daily I realize now that it was all very beneficial, helpful and for my own interest! The operation was very successful and I remember waking up in a very clean and comfortable room surrounded by very pleasant staff doing their utmost to make sure that I was comfortable! I found Dr. Caillouette after my orthopedic retired. What a great decision. Everything from the staff to the doctor are phenomenal. Communication is top notch. They keep you well informed before, during and after surgery. Questions are answered promptly. I also love the “get well loop “network they use to communicate and remind you of things you should be doing. I highly recommend my Dr. Caillouette and Newport orthopedic institute.

Dr. Caillouette and his team did a total knee replacement on my right knee and I cannot tell you how satisfied and happy I am with the whole experience. I have had no pain whatsoever from the day of surgery, I’m sure this could be different for everyone but for me no pain. I wish I didn’t have to wait three months until the good Dr. and team can do the same on my left knee.

After seeing the results of my Mom's total knee replacement done by Dr. Caillouette a few years ago, I knew he was the surgeon I trusted for my TKR as well. I highly recommend Dr Caillouette and his staff. I have had 2 total knee replacements and both were very successful. I was bone on bone, walking with a stiff leg, and was in constant pain. He is very thorough in his explanations of the procedure and a talented technician. His staff is competent and efficient. The hospital staff are top notch. I had no complications after surgery which I attribute in part to the excellent care I received
