In 1972 Rufino Crespo, while working at a Dykes Lumber Company yard in Harlem New York, looked south to the then budding community of South Florida and saw opportunity. Rufino, an exile from Cuba, knew the draw of warm winters, clear skies, and access to the Latin American markets was a powerful combination.

Architectural mouldings are the ultimate expression of wood working art. In Colonial America, a person's home was judged by the trim and finish of its millwork, and the balance of design. It took talent to achieve a classical balance and substantial budget to make it a reality. Until much later all millwork and mouldings were done by hand!

Reuben is the man!! A friend of mine referred Sheridan Lumber when I asked if he knew a place that had butcher block countertops that they would cut to size. Only needed 36". The options at the "big box" stores were too long, too costly, and they wouldn't cut it. So I'd be left with waste. While the choices at Sheridan were limited to 2, both choices were great quality and I ended up saving time, material & money. Went with the rustic choice and will upload pics when I'm done. Thank you Reuben for making this painless. Will name my next sandwich 🥪 after you. 😁🤓⚒ 🔨🔧#LocalGem #DIY

CUSTOMER SERVICE IS REALLY BAD....!
The lady at from desk is only there to ask you to leave your name and phone number but no buddy never call you back.
I place an order several weeks and I can't get an ETA of delivery.
I asked to be transferred to a manager and the from desk ignored my petition. Really sad to see a company like Sheridan Lumber falling apart for the lack of customer service. Seems like nobody carea anymore.

Dan Pariseau dashed off 2 quotes for a door I want made. I was mostly happy with the 2nd quote and left a couple of messages for Dan to call me back so I could finalize and pay. He never did. It has been difficult to get Dan to respond while trying to get this door designed. I will not be buying my door from Sheridan Lumber.

Be aware that they will charge you a 15% "restocking fee" when you return an item.
Doesn't matter if the item wasn't used. You would think that there would be a sign posted somewhere around the checkout area. Nope. Maybe on the front of the receipt? Nope. Its actually in the fine print on the back of the receipt.
Just go to Home Depot.
