Being raised in Colorado Springs, I fell in love with the mountains at an early age. I love anything that involves the outdoors- hiking, camping, rock climbing, and getting lost in the woods. I'm a swing dancer, a thrill-seeker, and a wanderlust soul.
But when I'm not backpacking across New Zealand, snorkeling a reef in the Philippines, or snuggling my pup-child Ginger, one of my favorite things to be doing is designing fabulous love-celebrations.I can't even tell you when I first fell in love with the magic of weddings- it just seems to be something that's stuck with me from a very young age.

A wedding is a beautiful ritual designed to celebrate love and new beginnings. However, there is a major downside behind the scenes of many of these festivities: most weddings have a negative impact on our planet. At Dream Catcher Weddings, we believe that protecting the finite resources that this planet has so graciously shared with us is immensely important, in order to pass her gifts on to future generations.
But unfortunately, life doesn't slow down for you when you get engaged. Maybe you're finishing your degree while working night shifts, as well as trying to keep your social life afloat. Either way, you're looking for someone you can pass your dreams off to and trust that they will make the magic happen, while you keep doin' your groove and pushing through your busy life.
Marea worked with us to create a fantastic wedding! Marea helped keep us organized and focused on what was important for us at the wedding - we are located out of state and did wedding planning in a 6 month period that also included both of us changing jobs and moving across the country. Marea was incredibly responsive and was a pleasure to work with.
Marea was SO GREAT! I could not have survived the wedding day or week without her. It put me so at ease to have someone so competent in charge of things. I had the pleasure of working with Maréa and Amelia. Maréa was always willing to help and step in when I needed her. Very responsive and a joy to have help create my dream wedding. She took the time to get to know my partner and my wishes by providing advice and insight every step of the way. SHE’S SO ORGANIZED! You need someone like Maréa for your event. She was a blessing. Wow I truly cannot believe this review took me a year to write, but coming up on our one-year anniversary I reflected upon the wonderful help my husband and I received in planning a very last minute wedding during a time of huge pandemic uncertainty. I contacted Marea less than 2 months before our planned wedding date in an emotionally chaotic time for help planning a brand new wedding at a new venue (our original venue unfortunately was no longer an option due to circumstances surrounding the pandemic) with no idea where to start and planning from out of state. Marea was an excellent coordinator for our wedding. The effort she spent with the venue to make sure the timeline was precise really paid off, as one moment naturally flowed into the next. There were also a few times during the day she was able to pull the wedding party aside for a few horderves to keep us going. Lastly, I just wanted to note how flexible she was during the pandemic. We had to shift around quite a few aspects, including the date, and she was more than willing to work with us during the fluid timetable.

I could go on all day about the amazing things that Marea and her entire team do! Not only are they wonderful people but their passion for making your dreams come true & helping others is shown in literally everything they do! Marea is always available for any questions, comments, concerns and even just exciting updates. It is so nice knowing that someone is there for you no matter what and has your back through it all! Kassi was an incredible coordinator for our recent special event at Venetucci Farm. She handled everything perfectly and allowed us to focus on our guests and the joy of the evening rather than the common stresses of hosting a big party. Marea and her wedding company are a dream. She truly puts all her love, time and effort into making these weddings the most perfect day for a couple and does well in executing what they need and want while also adding her special brand of magic to it. I have been to mulitple of the weddings she has coordinated and they were also absolutely beautiful. You can tell that she truly cares about what she is doing and is very good at it. I highly recommend her and her talent!
