Dr. Albert Canas is a South Florida native. Born at Mt. Sinai Hospital on Miami Beach, he is fully bi-lingual in English and Spanish. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Miami School of Medicine and went on to complete his internship and residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.
He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Albert Canas went on to private practice upon completion of his medical training and has practiced on Miami Beach since 1994, and at his current location since 1998. Tammy Sharpe joined Albert Canas, M.D. & Associates in 2012 (Now AC Aesthetics by Albert Canas MD) as Medical Aesthetician.

I could never trust another physician as much as I trust Dr. Canas. He is so thorough with his examinations, so perceptive with his diagnoses and so patient when explaining things to his patient. I told him once that I was playing "beat the clock" with him -- I had to die before he retired because I'd never want another doctor treating me. He's the best.

I have been a patient for more than 20 years, I moved out of South Beach more than 10 years ago and I still go to his office. Very easy to get an appointment once you are a patient. They are excellent on time, you are schedule for a specific time you will be seen at that specific time. Straight to the point. Do. Understand that if you do miss an appointment and you do not cancel at least 4 hours before of it you will be charge. At the beginning it bothered me but, it is only fair. If you don't show up you are taking the opportunity from someone to go and they loose that time they book for you.

I have been using this office for about 15 years. They are always able to meet my appointment needs and they always get me in the office at the time of my appointment. Unlike other Dr.'s I have gone to, they don't make you wait for hours. Phone calls and requests are always retuned. As I said, as a 15 year patient at this office, they are very efficient.
