I rarely if ever Yelp but felt compelled to do so for Devon. I can't say enough good things about working with Devon and his team at Film Logic.
I was producing a very challenging shoot that required importing special lenses from Germany with only a couple days notice.
Devon quite literally held my hand through the entire process as this was my first time importing gear. Not only did he exercise extreme patience with my many questions and micromanaging, but he checked in regularly with live updates.
I would say that it was a miracle that the lenses arrived JUST in the knick of time, but

Amazing experience working with Nicholas and the team at Film Logic. The bar is set pretty low by other customer brokerage and freight forwarding companies, but these guys understand how customer service works in the 21st century.
We are on our 4th container with Film Logic and would recommend them to anyone looking for brokerage and delivery.
Oh and no need to be in the film industry. We are a furniture importer and they are fully equipped to service every one.

Nick at Film Logic was awesome during a stressful, confusing time for a first time importer. Nick basically held my hand the entire way, was super accessible and patient both via email and via phone, and he even caught a potential shenanigan from the shipper and/or freight forwarder that I was able to get solved (and would have had no idea otherwise). I definitely recommend working with Film Logic and Nick, especially if its your first time importing and you're feelings lie in between unsure and freaking out. Thanks Nick and company!

Pay careful attention to their quote. I noticed the "If Applicable" Waiting time $65/hr and when I asked them to clarify, they only mentioned that it has to do with the time they have to wait to pick up my cargo, but did not mention at all that it also applied to the time they take to bring the cargo inside the house.
Fast forward, on the day delivery to our place, when the driver came, he asked me where to put the shipments, at that time, he

Could not have been more thrilled that I chose Film Logic as my customs broker. I was sending a shipment from Bali and needed assistance last minute and they were incredibly on top of it. It was my first time shipping a large order oversees and I had tons of questions. They answered me at all hours (and even on a Holiday weekend) and always calmed my nerves. Shout out our huge appreciation to Eric who really saved our baggage to get cleared in just one day!! Our client's baggage were taken by customs and they said to grab a broker who could prepare documents in order to release the baggage at the airlines warehouse. True story it was Saturday afternoon, I have called 15 brokers those who had never picked up calls or either straight to the voice mail. I had to ship 50 band uniforms from LA to Milan, Italy in a very short time frame. These guys are awesome! They answered every email and every phone call.
