Kittery Ace Hardware is located just a short drive from all the outlet malls. From I-95, take exit 3 to the Kittery Traffic Circle or travel Route One until you reach the traffic circle. Turn right onto Roger's Road (just next to the Dairy Queen). This road eventually becomes Shapleigh Road. Kittery Ace Hardware is on your left just after the post office.

I was just there, looking for 5 diverse items. A young man stopped what he was doing and cheerfully guided me through the store; he knew exactly where everything was, and gave me good advice on one item after asking me my intended use, steering me from one grade of steel wool to another: "This is what I'd use for that." Perfect.
After he'd helped me, I had a very nice chat with the two cashiers at the front of the store. In all, I got exactly what I needed, and was in-and-out in about 15 minutes.

Local business will always get my money and with the big plumbing job I have coming up I'll be looking to them for advice and all my material. I'm no master and can't afford to pay one, I've been in the construction business my whole life and I'm confident that with Ace's knowledgeable staff and vast inventory, especially for the plumbing supplies I'll be using, I'm sure I'll get the job done right!

My girlfriend and I recently renovated a large portion of my 200 year old home using Youtube, some good friends, and the kindness of the incredible staff at Kittery Ace Hardware.
From recommending tools and products, to commiserating over pulling carpet staples, I'm not sure if we would have gotten through it without them.

This Ace is without a doubt the place. You can beat an establishment where everyone in this store makes you feel welcome. This is my favorite hardware store. Here is a group of people who will go out of their way for you, like miracle on thirty fourth street if they don't have it they send someplace that does. That is worthy of my admiration and loyalty as a customer if nothing else,but there is so much more. There are elements here that other businesses would do well to try and incorporate. I'll be honest, you can do better on price elsewhere (mostly in big box stores) but you won't find a better

Today I went to Kittery Ace Hardware to purchase a Webber Q3200 gas grill. I could not believe the exceptional customer service I received, especially from Rick the manager. In a time where everyone is trying to protect themselves from everyone else , I very much appreciated Rick's kindness and his willingness to go the extra mile!!! So happy I picked this store for my purchase!!!!

Wow I'm surprised not to see more reviews .
This is the best hardware store I've Been in .
The staff is super friendly and can pretty much help you with every product in the store they sell . You will not find the same customer service at Home Depot .
Everything is reasonably priced for a smaller store and
They always seem to have what I need whether it be paint or an odd shaped screw or whatever
