Services
Microblading, also know as eyebrow embroidery, feather strokes or 3D Brows, is a procedure categorized under permanent makeup. Unlike traditional tattooing, it is less invasive and is sometimes advertised as semi-permanent, but this does not mean temporary. This means that touch ups will be required to keep the brows looking their best.
If additional touch ups are needed there will be an additional fee. There is a $100 nonrefundable booking fee due at the time of booking. This money will be put toward the total cost of the procedure. Clients who no show, show up more than 15 minutes late or cancel with less than 48 hour notice will forfeit the deposit and a new deposit must be placed before a new appointment will be booked.
In this class, Melissa teaches in depth theory on the Microblading and Microshading techniques. While students will not be working on live models, they will be working on multiple surfaces for practice; including latex, practice skins, oranges and bananas. Each student will receive a full kit (machine and Tina Davies pigment line included) with enough supplies to complete 20 procedures on clients, plus more for practicing.

This means that the pigment will gradually lighten and fade over time and touch ups (color boosts) are recommended to keep the brows looking their best.
Microblading is typically done using a hand held tool with ultra fine needles to create hair like strokes into the upper layers of the skin. Ombre powder brows and microshading are done using a rotary machine with usually only 1-3 needles to create a more filled in, powdery effect. Microblading looks more like hair while ombre powder brows look more like makeup has been applied to the brows (without all the hassle of actually having to do it!).

I initially waited two years before I felt comfortable to go and give Melissa a try to do my eyebrows. I don’t just go to people without doing my research. After reviewing her page and watching her progress over the years I finally mustered up the courage to make an appointment and meet with her back in 2018. I just want to thank Melissa for everything! She is absolutely amazing, we went through a little difficultly, at the time of my appointment we ended up finding out I was allergic to epinephrine i had swollen up pretty bad, she checked on me everyday until she was able to get me back in, which was a couple days later, she was amazing throughout the whole process. I’m so happy with the results and I’m not even done with the healing process at this time. Lol. I highly recommend that everyone come and see her!

Can’t say enough positive things about my experience today. Everyone was super professional, personable, office was cute/clean. Most important of all, I love my brows!! Melissa is amazing! I absolutely love my eyebrows. Her and Caitlin made the whole experience so awesome. The studio is lovely and very clean , Melissa is extremely knowledgeable and professional and the work... I mean,take a look at her photos! Truly life changing!
