After soliciting multiple bids, I ultimately selected San Diego Iron Gates to fabricate and install decorative railings for my new home. My decision was based primarily on Simon's (the owner's) involvement. He gave me a variety of options, as well as his honest (and sensible) advice regarding design, size and placement.

Simon and his crew have installed three gates for us over the last 10 years, and all three are beautiful. The most recent install was a gate with a customized lock for an alley entrance. They made the gate exactly as we specified and customized it to accommodate our mechanical keyless entry. They have always done great work and delivered on schedule. The first gate is still beautiful, functional, and has stood the test of time.

Just had #407 gate installed this morning. Such a beautifully made gate. Goes with the entire look of my courtyard, my garage doors and newly ordered front door. I already know I will be getting tons of compliments in the next few days. Simon was awesome. He came the day I called him for a quote and installed my gate the week it was estimated to be completed. Quality custom made gate. I highly recommend!
