I started a project without a firm plan to light a new set of concrete stairs. I contacted several electricians and lighting contractors. Steve (South Bay Lights) was the only one who responded that was able to help me. He helped us choose a design for our project and worked with the concrete contractor to get conduit installed prior to the concrete pour.
By informing my wife and I about product choices we didn't know existed, we were able to make our vision a reality.

Steve's work is excellent. The design process was quick. the outcome looks amazing - our neighbors commented how much it adds to the neighborhood, and I love being in our back yard. Steve did an excellent job from start to the finish. He knew exactly where to place the lights to maximize lighting in the planters while highlighting trees and stone work. He arrived at the time he specified for the quote and even finished the job earlier than expected. He is very honest and pricing is fair and about what I expected. Finally I found an honest Contractor that cares about doing a wonderful job!!

Not only did South Bay Lights make recommendations to enhance and improve with additional fixtures, but they refreshed & reconfigured existing fixtures and did it in a timely, organized and methodical manner. The final result is beautiful

I was interested in updating and adding to my existing outdoor lighting. I contacted Steve at Southbay Lights and we scheduled a time to meet. During our meeting, Steve looked over the existing lighting! Took pictures and made suggestions as to replacing and upgrading the lights. I expressed an interest in timers being installed as well. Steve listened to what I was hoping to see happen and offered his professional opinion. The meeting was about an hour. During the meeting, I threw a curve ball at him by telling him I would be going out of town in 10 days and wondered if the job could be done before

When I wanted to redo my landscape lightings last year, I called several companies to provide me with quotes. I ended up choosing Steve with Southbay Lights based on his reasonable pricing and his no-pressure attitude. That turned out to be a great decision. His work is truly amazing from design to quality. We love the lights and string lights he put in so much that we brought him back last week to complete the entire yard. He is so meticulous. Southbay Lights professionally installed low-voltage outdoor LED lights at my house and I could not be happier. Generally I do short reviews but I am so pleased with the quality that I want to help them drum up more business. The company is owned by a couple of mature south bay dads who are really cool and sharp guys.
