A thorough hearing evaluation is completed to determine the type and degree of hearing loss present. If it is determined there is a medical issue that needs addressing, a referral will be given to the appropriate medical professional. A painless low-level sound emission helps evaluate the health of the inner ear.
A balance disorder is a condition that makes you feel dizzy, unsteady or gives you vertigo - the sensation that you or the world around you are spinning or moving. While we all have short bouts of dizziness or small dizzy spells, we do not all experience vertigo or balance disorders.
According to the National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD), about 15% of American adults suffer from a balance disorder in any given year.Balance disorders affect different people in different ways. For some, the vertigo or balance disorder might be simply annoying, and for others the disorders can profoundly impact their daily life, often leading to lost work productivity, depression, anxiety and fatigue.

I had a great experience with Audio Consultants. The Dr gave me a complete exam to determine what my issue was and he was dead on. I appreciate the level of care I experienced, not to mention the professionalism upon arriving & when I left. Now I'll be able to get the help I need with my hearing. Thanks Audio Consultants for your service.

I was a wee bit taken aback upon driving into the parking lot and finding out they were next door to a Vietnamese massage parlor. But once I entered the doors it was clear that this was a professional medical practice.
The receptionist, Dr Kolmetz and his lab specialist Christina were all friendly, competent and informative. They took the time to answer all my questions, and didn't rush though anything.
I was sent here by vocational rehabilitation services, and was surprised to find out that the doctor they had chosen was the grandson of a gruff old gentleman with a heart of gold who had helped

Great, friendly and quick service. I even went back just a few minutes before my appointment. Everyone was very personable! The doctor explained everything to me so I would know what was fixing to happen to me. Parking was a little difficult but other than that, I highly recommend them. (Even though I’m not good with directions 🤦♀️ and having to call them twice, she drove me straight to them.)

Dr Kolmetz is a very professional and caring doctor. He took time to evaluate and explain my husbands hearing status. After that, based on a series of questions, he offered several different hearing aids taking into account his needs and insurance situation. When the hearing aids arrived, he took time to explain what to expect and how to use and maintain them. We are very happy, he was assisting us in this process.

I was nervous about this appointment and how they were going to do a hearing test on my child who is non verbal and very sensitive with his ears. The doctors approach was very calm which I could tell made my son very comfortable. The doctor was even able to put a hearing test device in my sons ears which I thought was going to be a huge struggle. To my surprise my son was able to take the test with no issues. So happy with our experience , thank you!
