Since 1999, we have served the communities of the High County with outstanding service. While we do offer free delivery in Boone and other reasonable distances from our retail outlet. For distances beyond that, our delivery charges are minimal. Deliveries can usually be done at the time of purchase.
Since we are a family business, we understand the expense of college living. We offer specially priced mattress set and frame bundle with free delivery to students. The quality and value found in the student special package means you will save both time and money while preparing for the upcoming semester.

I shopped around in Boone for a new mattress-in-a-box. Bargain Barn had what I needed in stock at an excellent price.....far better price than anywhere else in town!! Their staff were helpful, knowledgeable about their products, and very polite. If you're looking for a good deal on a good quality mattress, I would strongly recommend shopping at this locally owned store!!

My 88 year old Mom fell and broke her tailbone and has several fractures in her vertebrae. When I was talking to Nate about her condition he offered to deliver a new queen sized hospital bed to her house while I took her for her follow up with the surgeon. Nate and his crew moved her old bed, set her new bed up and left everything better than they found it. He had everything taken care of in less than 24 hours of me telling him about our dire situation. Forever indebted, highest of recommendations for Nate and the Bargain Barn! Thank you, Nate!

I am a student at App state and just needed a mattress for my unfurnished apartment in Boone and Bargain Barn made it SO easy. I got the college special which was a mattress, box spring, frame, and delivery all for $375. I was able to purchase it over the phone beforehand and have the mattress delivered on my move-in date. The employees are super nice and made the process smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Bargain barn for anyone who needs a good quality mattress at an affordable price. The service here was absolutely amazing! Could not have asked for anything better. They were extremely customer oriented, and helped me find exactly what I was looking for. The service was fast and easygoing, they answered all of my questions and there was no attempt to up-sale me. I left the store with a high quality mattress and platform for an affordable price, and I will be highly recommending them to anyone I know who needs a mattress in the future. They were great!
