Screen roller shades are quickly becoming one of the most popular types of blinds in Hawaii today. Also referred to as solar shades, the screen rollers feature a perforated screen that rolls down and cuts out a percentage of the light, while still allowing a clean view to the outside. I would absolutely recommend Wylie! We weren't 100% sure what we wanted for our super sunny (hot!) corner condo, but we knew we wanted window treatments that helped keep us cool, but also opened easily to enjoy our views. Wylie's recommendations were spot on. He and his assistant, Adam, showed up on time, ready to work, consulted/explained as they went and had the job complete in under 3 hours. It was a substantial investment for us, but completely worth it! It has modernized/upgraded the look of our condo and keeps us cool. Fashion meets function. We are very satisfied.

Wylie Ball of Oahu Blinds is excellent: punctual, transparent, and reliable. He picked up my call and came by first thing the following morning to inspect a few motorized blinds that fell out of position. He promptly diagnosed the problem, ordered replacement parts from the mainland, and was very transparent with pricing. The service Wylie provided throughout was fantastic, listening to all of our questions and concerns, and providing detailed explanations of procedures, parts, mechanisms, etc. He even realigned and lubed blinds that were making screeching sounds.

Again, I have to give Wylie and Oahu Blinds a 5 star review. We bought our plantation shutters from him four years ago. We recently had our house leveled and my shutters would not shut due to the work. I called Wylie, he quickly returned my call, and scheduled an appointment to come out and fix them. My shutters are level again! Yay! Wylie was on-time, professional and still patient with our dog! He would not accept payment, but I insisted as it took him some time to get it worked out and I appreciated his quick response and follow-up.

We had purchased a new home in Kaneohe and needed loads of window treatments. I think in the end about 30K. When your spending this kind of cash you want to make sure you have the right company and the right guy.
Wiley, was great and knew the product we wanted. He made some great suggestions and for the most part it all worked. I can say we had to make some changes, but I would not blame him. Some of our choices just needed correction and in one case he was able to reuse one of our accidental choices in another room. A great experience!

We recently purchased a new home and within 8 months one of our three existing blinds (motorized Hunter Douglass) went kaput. Called Wiley at Oahu blinds for his recommendation. He said we could easily pull the blind down and take it to the factory for repair, but we decided to replace them and also have some additional rooms upgraded with honeycomb black-out blinds versus the existing big box store cheap blinds that have been starting to break and malfunction. We are very pleased with the quality of products, turn around, professionalism and service!

I have five small windows in my kitchen. Every afternoon at the precise time I am prepping for dinner, I am almost blinded by the sun. It is so annoying. I called Oahu Blinds. WIley and Chris showed up on time, neat, friendly, they brought a catalog of blind options. They measured and gave me a quote. One week or so later the blinds were installed. The installation was perfect. I LOVE my blinds. Harmony has been restored to the kitchen. I was a bit sad when when the job was over; it was such a positive experience. I guess I'll have to look around for some more offensive

Wylie and Chris was my choice after getting 2 other estimates. They are very professional, perfectionist, friendly, easy to work with, & will give you ideas on different "looks" that you might not of considered.
They just completed my lvrm and dining rm installation and I am more than pleased. They did a final walk w me and corrected everything that my critical eye saw. Which btw was so minimal. Just a few screws that needed tightening to make me happy..... seriously.
I highly recommend Oahu Blinds, Wylie and Chris, for any window covering. No regrets and highly pleased.

I had a home-visit consultation by Oahu Blinds and another company. I also got a third quote to price compare... Oahu blinds offered the most affordable price and best warranty, so I chose Oahu Blinds to install plantation shutters
We especially liked their vinyl plantation shutters. Wylie offered us a huge price break on the vinyl shutters because he got a discount from the manufacturer -- I appreciated his honesty and integrity of passing the discount on to us.
If anything breaks on our shutters, Wylie will come back and fix it for free. I really liked this
