Certified orthopaedic physician assistants (PA-C) and experienced medical staff will ensure you receive top notch, personalized care in our state-of-the-art facility which includes x-ray, MRI, ultrasound, physical therapy and bracing on site.
We accept most insurances. However, many patients have high deductibles or no insurance at all. When they go to the ER or show up for medical appointments, they are rarely told how much the visit will cost. We strive to provide an affordable option to pay out-of-pocket with rates significantly lower than going to the Emergency Room.

Recently I had a great experience at the Fort Lauderdale Orthopedic clinic as a walk-in patient and I feel compelled to share it with others. While cleaning a glass candle holder to remove residue candle wax, I accidently stabbed my left hand with a corroded flathead screwdriver and the injury would not heal for 6 weeks even after taking antibiotics. That’s when I decided to go to the Fort Lauderdale Orthopedic clinic to get to the bottom of the issue. Lucky for me my case was assigned to Dr Jeffrey Alent. Dr Alent reviewed the X-Ray but didn’t see anything so immediately moved on to doing

Great place with high-quality specialists. Very happy with an outcome of today's visit .Saw two specialists prior to this visit. Couldn't have positive results from those two visits. Still being in pain until today. Doctors and medical stuff are very attentive and well qualified to perform their duties. Will recommend this office to all my friends and family in need of the orthopedic assistance. Thank you for helping me and for those who knows how to live without constant pain . Unfortunately I can not give zero stars...and here is why I would..
Yes the staff was friendly and helpful and surgery for a torn meniscus was done in a timely manner. I have to question the decision on which procedure was done as it was the one with the lowest success rate. But that is completely overshadowed by the additional injuries sustained at their facility. 2 weeks after surgery, while entering the facility on crutches, I slipped on their wet tile entryway with all my weight coming down on my injured leg. I was told by their own staff that this has happened before and I should report it

I had pain in my right knee. I was fortunate to have been referred to the orthopedic urgent care by a friend . She and her husband had used the facility with great results . It’s very impressive how efficient and professional the office staff and the doctors are. I had an x-ray and received a Cortizone shot. I left feeling so much better. I cannot say enough good things about The Orthopedic Urgent Care center. I definitely will go back again when I have a problem. I’m very grateful.

Some of the nicest medical people I’ve ever met. The doctors, nurses, staff and X-ray technician were all friendly, caring and genuinely interested in helping me. And help they did; pain is gone. I highly recommend this doctors’ office to anyone needing orthopedic treatment and pain relief. It’s called “walk in” but you CAN book an appointment. I did and was in and out without a wait. Five stars.

Did a walkin appointment on Friday afternoon. Had looked online and didn't see my insurance but really wanted to go to this clinic so was asking to pay the flat fee. When I arrived, my wait time was very minimal and the young lady at the front desk took my insurance card and made every effort to see if it was accepted while I went through the exam. To my surprise, she was able to get confirmation which saved me money. The whole staff was very nice, very knowledgeable, and swift. Will patron them again!

After my son broke his arm, I called this walk-in clinic and I’m so glad I did. Not only did they fit us in that very same day, they also provided him with top notch care. Brittany was great, she was knowledgeable and recommended the right treatment for his injury and he is already back to 100%. I’ve been struggling with ankle pain and had trouble getting an appointment with an orthopedic doctor I had previously seen. I was able to go to ortho walk in and be seen as soon as I finished all the new patient paperwork. The service was quick (I had x-rays done) and every single thing was explained to me in detail. Brittany showed me every single x ray and explained where my pain was coming from and demonstrated exercises to do in addition to giving them to me in a packet. Super friendly staff (including the receptionist Shaniel) and great service! No waiting and I felt super comfortable!

I just moved from out of state to Ft. Lauderdale and was looking to get quick appointment for acute (nighttime) shoulder pain. Found the Ft. Lauderdale Orthopedic Care site and immediately had a wonderful on-line chat providing me options and suggestions - including an amazing Walk-in Clinic (not ER and an extension of the main office) so I could be seen immediately!
