Services
Columbus Recycling buys ferrous, non-ferrous and specialty alloy scrap metals and other recyclables from commercial and industrial businesses, as well as the general public. Steel is the most widely recycled metal in the world. Each year, tons and tons of steel scrap are consumed by steel mills and foundries.
Although individual pieces of scrap material can vary, this list of common metal types and sorting guidelines can help you get the most from your scrap material. Cans from soda, pop, beer, etc.; must be relatively clean and dry. If anything other than aluminum cans are found in a container, the container must be resorted before it is purchased.
Metal pricing is directly related to supply and demand drivers, which are impacted by economic conditions, political and social situations, the price of competitive alternatives and even seasonal swings. This information on factors that impact common metal types can help you understand why and when prices fluctuate, and help you better manage your business.

I have used Columbus Recycling for over 10 years for all my recycling needs. I recently took an old Malibu that had been in my yard for years and received top dollar. The employees were so helpful and treated me with the upmost respect. I would never go anywhere else, definitely recommend using their service.
