With more than 17 years of experience, Cast Iron Elegance, Inc. has provided high quality wrought iron stair rail repairs, fabrication, and installation in Raleigh, N.C. and surrounding areas. To develop and manufacture the finest quality products for our commercial and residential customers. The project team is comprised of designers, craftsmen and fabricators with strong roots in the iron works business.
Because custom work forces us to quote custom prices, we can get pretty close if you accurately measure your railings. Step 1- Measure the entire length of the railing tops only (excluding posts) with a tape measure. The picture below gives you a visual example of what to measure. Step 2- Take 2 or 3 pics of your railings from different perspectives.

It's no secret that the Raleigh-Cary metro area is filled with beautiful homes. They all don't flaunt iron railings like homes in older cities do. Because of our explosive growth since the 1980's, only a small portion of homes have been built with iron railings outside. The use of treated wood and increase of iron ore prices made building outdoor structures with wood much more cost-effective.

Swapped outdated wood balusters for new metal. Surprisingly the price of all new metal, beautifully finished and installed by Cast Iron Elegance was cheaper than just changing wood to wood.
Couldn't be happier with the outcome. Their responsiveness, transparency as to what the product will be and in what time (long wait) was super good. Recommend them to everyone!!

We bought a 20 year old house with cast iron handrails that had never been maintained or cared for. They were rusted, pitted and were deteriorating in some places. We took them to Cast Iron Elegance. Matt and crew completely repaired and actually transformed them to better than new. The powder coat finish looks spectacular! There were a couple of issues, after the re-fabrication but Matt quickly made the necessary adjustments. He was committed to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the finished product. Great experience! We hired Cast Iron Elegance to install a long railing along our front yard walkway and asked that they also install some brackets for us to put in a secondary handrail. They did a great job at this customization. Their crew was very professional and super nice and accommodating, making sure they set the secondary handrail brackets at the right height for my elderly mother who lives with us. The railing is beautiful and we're extremely happy with the experience.

This is one of the few companies I would recommend. We installed iron railings on our front stairs early this year and I had several very specific customized requirements. Based on past experiences with other companies, I expected them to mess it up and figured I'd have to babysit the installers too, but I was pleasantly surprised that everything was 100% correct and the entire process was smooth and efficient. If there were 6 stars available I'd give them 6.

Cast Iron Elegance did a wonderful job on my new porch railings and fabricating a patio table. The customer service was excellent from working with Megan who was very helpful in answering questions and arranging estimates and install. Mayson was great in assisting us in our design and providing us great input in choosing a design that makes our home "POP". They gave us a timeline and were spot on and communicated with me to ensure I was getting exactly what we wanted . The fabrication and install of both porch railing and table were of top quality along with a fair price. The install crew installed

We had a very good experience with Cast Iron Elegance. The customer service including detailed measuring of what we needed and answering of all our questions was outstanding. They carefully explained all of our options and we even visited the showroom to talk more in person regarding our choices. Highly professional in both their customer service and craftsmanship. My wife and I are really enjoying the handrails. They are sturdy, and very beautiful. They were reasonable priced. From the salesperson, the coordinator of the project, and the people who installed them, the whole process was smooth, professional, and done in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend Cast Iron Elegance to anyone who is considering handrails made from wrought iron instead of the cheap aluminium material. You won't be disappointed!

This is the best experience I've had with home improvement. Mayson came out and measured my yard, gave me a quote, and got down to business creating a custom design for my fence. I live in a 1930 bungalow and wanted something with Ginkgo leaves. He blew it out of the water - I love it. When the fence and gates were being installed they of course ran into unexpected situations. But every time they figured out a good solution and checked in with me first. Just a really great company.
