Pensacola is our hometown and we are lucky, very lucky. It's a beautiful place to visit and a great place to live there's no doubt about that. One of the best things about Pensacola is that we have our beach and our beach atmosphere, but we also have a great downtown and inland city with excellent restaurants, bars, shopping, and breweries.
Where do I even start? What was once known as a quaint little fishing village has exploded into an amazing city that's a must visit if you're nearby. Destin Harbor sits about fifty miles from Pensacola Bay. On a journey to Destin you'll will travel through Navarre and Fort Walton Beach, both of which offer some great scenery.
Our trips over to Orange Beach, Alabama are a sure crowd pleaser. If you're looking for something to do with your friends and family this is a great option. This is about a forty to fifty mile trip depending on where you want to go and there's a fairly long no wake zone when going through Perdido Key so you can expect about an hour and a half boat ride when traveling from Pensacola.
At Pensacola Boat Rides we use bay boats for a number of different reason with the two most important factors being speed and comfortability. All of our boats are in the 22 to 24 foot range and can take up to six passengers plus the captain. The majority of our boats do not have any type of top or cover, but the wind keeps you cool while riding.
Shaggy's Bar and Grill is located about a half of mile after the toll booth when you arrive on Pensacola Beach. It's a great spot to grab a beer and kick back with a great view. The food is fantastic, the "Off the Hook!" Grilled Fresh Fish Sandwich is a must try. If we're picking you up at Shaggy's for your adventure you must park across the street in the public parking lot due to the amount of time we'll be gone.
