Terry's Colorado Home Supply & Ace Hardware is a member of the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the industry. Ace Hardware Coop started as a small chain in 1924 and now has over 4,600 stores. This Ace Hardware was opened in 2005 by Terrence Smith. It is now independently owned by Grace, Max and Quinn Smith.

The store and it's staff has changed for the worst in the last 5 years.. there's a less then a handful of original employess still shinning. Worst experience was buying a new stihl weed wacker a month ago and the service sales tech. Told me it'd take 15 mins to get it up and running. I also bought a conversion kit that was to be installed and paid extra for this . It was important to have a part by the Handel for safety reason with this conversion. 1.5 hrs latter I was told the 2 bolts were to short to work.and couldn't be installed at this time. Here we are in a hardware store with the bolts I

They have a good selection, and the staff has usually been very helpful in my handful of times visiting over the years. The reason for 1 star is they do not make it clear at the time of purchase what their return/exchange policy is. I was not able to return some items I purchased less than 24 hours before, even though I had the receipt and credit card I used.

I tried to purchase 2 folding tables online. Their website said 2 tables were available for pick up the next day, but wait for the all important “email”, before you go to the store. After 3 days passed and no email, I decided to call the store. Big mistake! I should’ve just canceled the order.

We went here in need of fishing licenses. We had an awful awful awful lady cut in line, demand she be helped first, changed her mind multiple times on what she needed and made the workers overall job difficult. Cole, the worker, handled it well and got us taken care of quickly and efficiently. He handled the lady's antics very well!!! Thank you, Cole!

This store is SOLID! First of all, as with all Ace Hardware stores, this Pagosa location has just about everything you need for DIY projects involving plumbing, electrical, painting, gardening and general home repairs. As a bonus, this store also has an EXCELLENT selection of hand & power tools, mountain-style clothing & furniture, as well as BBQ & grilling supplies of all kinds and just about everything you'll need for your pet! Service is ALWAYS excellent, with helpful personnel who are knowledgeable and friendly. Prices? Not bad. There are always sales and in-store specials
