Bob is simply the best. Extremely kind and knowledgeable. Really nice selection of frames and sunglasses. I recently brought my script to him with frames I already had. He took precise measurements and had my glasses back very quickly. They are perfect! We tested them out together and he made sure I was 100% happy with them. I will be continuing to visit his shop and have sent other people to him as well. If you want a local business owner and the most personal experience, go see Bob!

Bob was fantastic to work with. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted. After giving Bob the specifics he suggested two different manufacturers who could fill my request. He took some measurements of my face and eyes and in the end I chose to get one pair from each manufacturer. I highly recommend him, and the prices were very reasonable.

My pair of prescription sunglasses broke and they needed repair. The minute I entered the building I was treated like family. I explained my problem to proprietor and he found that a screw broke off in the frame.
I explained that I had a medical condition and I needed my sunglasses as soon as possible. He said he would try to drill out the screw but it might take some time. He pulled a pair of sunglasses off the shelf that fit over my regular prescription glasses, and just asked that I return them after he repaired my sunglasses.
I was called about an hour later and my glasses were repaired.

Accidentally broke a side frame on a pair of special Sunglasses that I had purchased from them about a year and a half ago. They said they could be repaired, huge relief as they were expensive in the first place. Part flown in overnight and repair was completed within 36 hours. Now that is old fashion service ! Awesome to work with. Will not even consider another optometrist. Absolutely the best in Naples. Period.

Since I have to wear glasses 24/7 I like to have light weight, cool looking glasses. From looking at the web site and reading the reviews on Yelp, I decided to visit Bob at Character Eyez. THIS STORE IS FANTASTIC!
They carry all the cool glass frames and the top lenses. Bob is the most knowledgeable optician I've worked with in SWF. My glasses should arrive in 7 to 10 working days. Can't wait!

I've been trying for about a month to find a good replacement for my last pair of sunglasses that broke. I've been to two other shops recently and was frustrated by their lack of knowledge, if I'm going to drop more money for a higher quality pair, I want to know I'm getting a solid product. I have very sensitive eyes, so a quality pair of sunglasses is important to me and I take it very seriously.

Best eyewear store in town! I've bought 4 or 5 pairs of glasses and sunglasses from Bob and always been pleased. If ever there is an issue he goes above and beyond to fix the problem or get the manufacturer to do so. I go by ever once in a while for an adjustment or just to check out the new inventory. Everyone I've sent there has been pleased as well.

Needed an adjustment on a new pair of glasses I had just gotten in Michigan before heading South. Saw the reviews and decided to give Character Eyez a try. Walked in and Bob was more than willing to help me out, very friendly and personable, Bob tweaked the glasses a couple times and made sure everything was just right, made sure I was happy and then topped it off by telling me no payment was necessary. While I know this was just a small job the interaction told me this was a place that was not only friendly but also had integrity . Thanks again Bob.......:)

I ordered my glasses from Bob last week and promised that I would update after pick up. All I can say is that I love my new glasses - the clarity of the lenses is amazing, changing from single vision to progressive bifocals was absolutely seamless. I definitely recommend going to Character Eyez for all your lens needs, and I'll be back again!
