In 2019 NSF International created NSF/ANSI/CAN Standard 50:26 for splash pad surfaces after four years of research, testing, and careful deliberation. Life Floor is proud to be the first splash pad surface to be certified to this standard. This standard is critical to creating play value and unique experiences at aquatic facilities that use safety surfacing.

In 2020, Life Floor and Inside Edge Safety Surfaces awarded a free splash pad surface to the city of Dothan, AL. We're happy to announce that our second annual Make a Splash! Grant Contest for 2021 is now LIVE! This year, we've expanded the contest to include JCCs, YMCAs, and other non-profit facilities in addition to Municipalities.

I was surprised to see their egg drop video. It didn't break on the life floor material after dropping it from 3 feets. Seems this product is perfect for creating beautiful, custom surfaces that integrates with the design or theming of any place where safety matters such as deck, floor, child playground areas or splash pad, wet entertainment places for kids and adults. Lighter Life Floor also retains less heat than concrete, making it cooler in the sun and easier on bare feet.
