If left to grow freely, trees can be a serious hazard to your home. They can protrude into unwanted areas and prevent other plants from growing and entering space you wouldn't want to see your tree branches, like near an overhead electrical line. They can eventually fall onto your driveway, car, the roof of your house, or even into your pool.
Family Tree Service has the proper equipment and training to do the job safely and quickly while causing the least amount of disruption for our clients. While tree removal is a last resort, there are circumstances when it is necessary. We can help you decide whether a tree should be removed. Pruning trees may be required for a number of reasons.
Yes, Family Tree Service carries liability insurance. All our work practices comply with the OSH ACT as well as the Industry Safe Work Practice. In addition, we conduct on a regular basis safety meetings and look for ways to continue to train our employees through the Tree Care Industry.
Each tree is different, so Family Tree Service bases their price on access (can our trucks/equipment reach the tree?), the size of the tree, the level of difficulty ( are there wires involved?), and the amount of clean up ( do you want to chip the brush or cut the wood).

Outstanding service! We had an urgent problem following high winds. We called the next day and Vincent came out within a couple of hours to diagnose the issue and sent the crew the next day. They were efficient and easy to work with. Just great workers. They came back a week later to remove another larger tree. We are extremely pleased with the work, the workers, the cleanup and the followup once completed. I would recommend this company.

Family Tree Service provided fabulous work at our home in Liberty. We give them the highest rating possible and recommend them to anyone needing tree service. Vincent came to go over everything we'd talked about at our initial visit and confirmed the VERY reasonable price. When the team arrived they promptly got to work and they were AMAZING!! The team of six worked together to cut dead wood and other limbs that hung over the house, cleared power lines, took down three whole trees, ground up most of the limbs and hauled off the big stuff. To top it off they did a fantastic clean up of our yard

Family Tree Service did an urgent job for us (a heavy branch was about to come down, on us or a neighbor, after a storm) at our property in Kansas City, they were amazing. They were understanding of our situation and this team were total professionals. Even better, they worked swiftly to get the branch off safely. They may very well have saved someone's life.

I attempted to cut down a large tree myself and when I got stuck I called family tree service to come save me. Since the tree was partially topped and precariously set they came out within a few hours and had the tree safely down in under an hour. They really saved me since there were several things the tree would have smashed if it had fallen how it wanted to.
I can’t praise the crew enough. They were amazing to watch. Sooo fast and they dropped each branch right where they wanted to. It was quite the show to watch.

We looked into receiving quotes from multiple company's through yelp and Found Family Tree Service. This company did a wonderful job! Vincent came out on time to give us a quote and the knowledge this young man has about trees is beyond his years! The crew are friendly, showed up on time, completed the work swiftly and effectively. This job wasn't no easy task! There were multiple lines in every direction but they have the know how to maneuver around them. The price was very competitive for the amount of work that was involved. We were told by numerous companies this tree would take 3

My neighbor hired Family Tree service to remove a couple of trees, one of which was dangerously dangling over my garage and power lines. While they were next door, I asked them to cut out multiple trees that had sprouted up along a fence row that hadn't been maintained in 2 years. For $225 they removed them and cleaned everything up along 50' of my side yard fence.
I then got a quote to tidy up 2 large trees in my front yard that had a lot of dead limbs just waiting for a big storm to come down and cause havoc and increase my home-owners insurance. They quoted me $600 which I thought
