Definition: A flaky, crispy, warm food pocket filled with your favorite toppings and/or foods. The first owner (origin), Bob and Manuca Pickett and their children came to Idaho from Argentina in 1977. Not long after, La Pizzeria was opened on Main Street in Rigby, Idaho, where the idea of a flaky, crispy warm food pocket was born.
The pickets named their intention the Bambino. It was an instant success. Literally, generations have been raised enjoying Bambinos. Over the years, restaurant ownership has changed three times but one thing has been constant - the high quality and great taste of the Bambinos.

We have been so fortunate to have such wonderful people to work at The Great Bambino Italian Restaurant. New Summer Hours - The Great Bambino Italian Restaurant will be open from 10 am - 9 pm Monday thru Thursday and the Drive Thru will be open until 9:30 pm. On Friday and Saturday, our hours are 10 am - 9:30 pm for the Dining Area and open until 10 pm for the Drive Thru.

Bambino's is not bad it's a good place to go every so often just for something a little different. The drive thru used to be a nightmare to go through the wait seemed like an eternity so I was dreding the fact my kids chose Bambinos for dinner. As I arrived there where two people ahead of me and I thought oh man here we go gonna waste a half hour of my life waiting in line. That turned out not to be the case this time the two cars in front of me slid right through within minutes and from the time I pulled in to the drive thru line to the time I got my food was less then 5 minutes. Very impressive

I would give about 4.5 stars if I could. The food was great and the atmosphere was good as well. It definitely felt like a wholesome place to bring the kids and a fun place for locals to hang out and chat. My only reservation regarded the time that I had to wait for the food, though I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and chalk that one up to the current labor shortages in this country. I would definitely visit again.

Had a little of everything on the menu. The Bambino is the best thing by far. We tried a few of the versions and they were all good. The pasta is not great, it reminded me of a frozen dinner quality. Fries were good, salad is simple. If you stick to what they do best you will not be disappointed. We will go again but next time focus on their main stuff.

Came here in a suggestion from my sister. The Bambino was soft and had good flavor. The onion rings were crispy - just the way I like them. The fries were crispy as well. Both the fries and onion rings were very good. Afterwards I had a chocolate ice cream. The ice cream was very smooth and had a good chocolate flavor.

I love that the prices are reasonable, the food is what you would expect from fried pizza. They did explain the difference in Bambino vs Calzone being fried or baked and informed us that the baked calzone will take about 15-20 minutes since it is actually cooked in the oven. I really appreciated the heads up! Their fries are crunchy flavored heaven and I did not expect the flavor punch to be so good. My kiddo (and myself) also LOVED the emoji fry hashbrowns! The bambinos are cheesy and just the right amount of flavor. The two girls working were helpful and very friendly - One was even very excited
